I have vast experience working with and supporting the homeless since childhood of my own free volition and have done this sort of thing myself. What I said was as far as this specific video goes, it would have been nice if they had actually done this with a real life homeless person instead of staging it for view. As a barber who has actually given homeless men cuts and shaves, you’re an embarrassment to the entire industry. If you’re too grossed out by the actual process of giving a homeless person a life changing transformation to better their self esteem, then you shouldn’t be licensed.

When I was homeless the feeling of having a shower getting a haircut, my nails etc as small as You may think it is does the most amazing thing to the person getting it done and personally I felt human again and that was absolutely priceless🙏

This man is not homeless. His beard was glued on cuz he can't grow a full beard like that. His real beard was the one at the end which isn't full based on age. As men get towards middle aged their beards get thicker, my husband is 47 and still has a head of hair and grows a beard so fast, it's unbelievable. In his case, it's genetics. His hair is spiral curled, auburn on top, and reddish on arms and legs. When I married him in his 20s he could grow a beard but you could still see his skin underneath. At 35, I noticed some changes and his eyebrow hairs thickened and he started growing hair out of his ears and back of the neck more hairs grew. Anyways, he would be the first to tell you that this man in his 20s had a glued on beard and mustache to "appear" homeless not knowing what real homeless people look like. Face and hands are too clean not to mention his clothes actually fit him. Usually they have hand me downs, used clothes, or stolen from the laundromat and they don't appear like this.

Some younger men can grow thick, full beards, it's genetic and goes along with the rest of their hair.
Just like women, there's a lot of variety in the thickness and fulness of men's hairy areas. It's not dependent on age alone. 😊

It’s sad that a real homeless person didn’t receive such a makeover. It would have been so nice for someone living their life on the streets to be given such an experience. I drive a city transit bus and have dozens of homeless people everyday. This man is not homeless, the homeless are filthy, their faces are very dirty and show signs of years of substance abuse. Not one homeless person I’ve had on my bus over the past several years have hair anywhere near that clean, and lastly, 99% of them aren’t mentally stable enough to sit and have their beard shaved off, hair cut and styled. This just goes to show how many people just don’t understand the homeless situation.
People don’t realize that it can happen to them too.
I spent time outside looking in and you couldn't tell I was houseless because I found ways to groom myself and get decent clothes to wear. This guy probably ended up rock bottom for other reasons and just needed to get himself back on track
