You always do an awesome job of sharing how to do things. I love how you put all your pages together of different sizes . Thank you so much for sharing.
I often use sticky paper surgical tape to hinge pages. It is very strong but thin and opaque. I quite like the look of it because the page colours show through it.
I almost skipped over this video, but I am glad I didn't. This is a great idea for building a stash of journal pages for later use. I like the idea of the hinge and this is definitely something I could do while I'm watching a show. Thank you so much for sharing this clever idea!!
Hi Rachel! Love the hinged papers! I made a journal and failed to put enough journaling pages in it so hinging is a great way to add writing space after the fact. 🙄 Thank you for the reminder. Hugs and Hello to Lulu! ❤
I really like your process for hinging papers. And, I am addicted to folding papers and tearing them because of the inspiration that I get from you! You fold and tear fabulously!!
I actually had a chance to craft along with you tonight... always nice to have someone to craft with, I do find this a lonely craft, thank the good Lord for RUclips... I love how you have hinged these different papers and envelopes together... Cheers for sharing...
Your stapler is really starting to get my attention, Rachel. Also gently folding the papers to fix under the stapler, you are a never ending source of tips. Biggest smiles, Carol xo
Thanks, Rachel for demystifying the whole hinge thing by showing so many options. The quick simplicity and results with so much potential makes me itchy to use some of my beautiful papers & build a stack. Hazel
I've watched many videos from different creator's for years (have I done any of them... no but hope to soon) and am still in awe of your creativity and ingenuity! Thanks for sharing!
Lovely pages, Rach! They will be perfect to find a home in one of your beautiful journals! Thanks for sharing your process! Love and hugs, dear friend! ❤️
You are always an inspiration, just when I think I am running out of ideas you show me something I haven’t tried. Thanks for always being so generous with your ideas.
Finally put my foot down and crated along without finishing the tidying. Got only two made before I gathered some orphaned pages and prepared them for doing this. Bliss.
If it’s the blue bottle she is using…it’s Tombow and I DO buy it on Amazon….I really love it around the edges after glue stick….everything sticks so well then! Have fun….after discovering Rachel…I’m in paper heaven!🥰👏
thanks for sharing I like how you turn the paper and then hinge it will try it please let Lul u know that she did an amazing job with the fabric bundles I really like her choices and a couple of the pieces of lace will come in handy to use in a journal I am making for a friend take care stay safe
I just wanted to tell how thrilled I am with my purchase from your shop and the shipping was so fast! I bought the super antique book page bundle - 1800s and they are fabulous! I was going to leave a 5 star review but Etsy won't let me do that until Oct. 7. Thank you!
For some reason I recall you coming across some hinged pages in a clear plastic folder, looking for....something else....Maybe the folders of older Medieval Mirage print outs?? You were surprised when you came across them. And it wasn't that long ago.
What's better than a quiet Sunday morning with a nice cup of coffe and everyone else is asleep, watching your video Rachel. Thanks for yet another great video 🥰 (and Flying Tiger is Danish...).
lol I’m watching this without sound because I’m in bed and the hubby is asleep. I’m anxious to see how you use these cool pages in your junk journals - do you have any tutorials showing that?? Thanks!
I want to jump right up & do some of those, but my body says it's down for the night. 🤷 Let us know if you find your other hinged pages. I'm DYING to see your new craft room! It doesn't have to be tidy for us! Thanks for the video! 🌞❤️
What is the average size of a journal. I like the way you work. I find all this fascinating. They different textures of the papers. Do you have a detailed area for doing signatures and binding. Love your channel.
I usually make mine in old book covers so it depends on the size of the book. I have a playlist for making journals and links in ther description box for different helpful videos. Thank you so much!
I have many videos in my how to make journal playlist showing me making journals from start to finish. Probably some of the newer videos titled choosing papers will show me using the hinged pages. They go in the journal just the same way as a folded piece of paper.
Interesting tutorial. Observation: at marker 25…..I noticed that as you chopped the papers ( and you did it twice) the reason you’re not getting it straight…..I see that the papers were not lined up to the top edge of the paper cutter!
I am glad,I found this tutorial:) thx. Dear, pls, at 48:08 you have in your hands piece made w. digital pap. Tiny bouquets, small blue flowers, big blue bird... its you digital pap.? pls, let me know.love to buy it, thx
I wonder what you do with those lovely pages you use for gluing your work on?? Do you reuse them somehow? wondering if they have glue on them what can be done with them?
Hi I made junk journals about 4 yrs ago and am just now getting back into it. I have a book of ephemera that I have made and one of them is a booklet type thing that you pull a string and the pages flip up. Do you know if you have made them in the past and if not do you know what they are called?
Rachel, do you reuse the pages from your glue book? I hadn’t thought about it and I think you’re the only person I’ve seen use book pages for a gluing surface. I heard someone the other day say that some people who use books for gluing reuse the pages for tags, etc so I wondered if you do. I love your creativity! You always inspire me.
You always do an awesome job of sharing how to do things. I love how you put all your pages together of different sizes . Thank you so much for sharing.

I use recycled fed ex envelopes that look woven almost. Won't tear, must cut.....
I like using that tape too. I just bought a new role.
Thank you for this video! Very inspiring and great ideas for using different papers as pages.

I would like to see how you attach these to a journal. I haven't made one yet and just learning .
Basically you put them in as you would a folded page. I will do a video this weekend.
@@roxycreations679 Thanks Rachel I will be watching for it.

I wonder what you do with those lovely pages you use for gluing your work on?? Do you reuse them somehow? wondering if they have glue on them what can be done with them?
Sometimes i use them to reinforce paper, make tags, journal cards, pockets or collage on them.
🥰❤️🥰

I answered it in my video yesterday, Medieval Mirage Monday, as I'm asked about it a lot. Thank you so much!
Hi Rachel, love these! What is the glue you use in the bottle and is it available on Amazon? Thankyou for sharing x
I replied above…..about the glue…Blessings, Sherry
It's a Tombow glue.
@@roxycreations679 Thankyou x
How do you put the hinged pages together into a journal. Do you have a video
I have many videos. You just slot them in like a regular folded page.
💗
I'm a beginner so pardon the 'silly' question: Are these hinged pages part of the signature for a journal? Or the outer sides?
Yes they can be put in like regular pages. I put some in my quick travel journal I made. That video went up Saturday. Thank you so much!
Would you please assemble your necessary items before the camera starts? Thank you.
