That's what I was gonna say. Insane 40 bucks for that. Up here in New England last year it was 25 too. Got one last year. It's ok but not worth 40. Best fountain for 40 is Amazing from cutting edge. If you've never seen it or lit it off. Find it. Best fountain on the market in my opinion
@@JustinSmithPYRO I literally have one on my fireworks table for this year already. That one is $50 over here but it was last year too. I agree, it's my favorite fountain. Can't hear anything in the whole neighborhood with that finale. 👌👌👌
@@jacobmcmahon1915 My personal favorite fountain is called maximum overdrive even thought they stopped making it you can look it up on RUclips and I the video you can’t tell but it goes at least 25 feet in the air

@@stevethepyro420 yeah you are right. I checked the packaging. This one is from Hog Wild. Flashing has a very similar shells kit.

I got a 24 pack of 6 in shells for 130 dollars from a tent today !

Seeing prices like this makes me very happy that I am buying my fireworks at a legit place. Literally just bought neon beef at the store I go for only $85. The person even told me that 200 grams really haven’t gone up much compared to the 500 grams and canister shells. Luckily, most of my 500 gram cakes were really cheap with last years price. Thats why it’s always best to go as early as possible.

I have found that the best prices are at year round locally owned firework stores. The tents have 24 piece mortars kits starting at over 200 dollars!! One of the stores have them starting at 120 and a bigger store I found has them starting at 90 dollars. I suspect a lot of the tents will have "accidents" to get insurance money cause no one is buying them at that price.

Fireworks are expensive this year but you just have to find the right tints for the right stuff ik tents that have 500g cakes for 35 and some are selling for 70 but others will have fountains for 35 and some have them for 13

Yea. I highly recommend wholesale if you spend $1k+, I was able to get 18, 24 pk shell kits for about $65 each and 500 gram cakes for around $25-$40. The same 500 grams would’ve been about $15-$25 more each if I bought them in store

Bro at this point I dont think fireworks will go back to the normal price, I remember I could order 20 500g cakes online for about $500. Now im lucky if I get a 8-9 cakes for $500 I think I’ll stick with a bunch of cheaper 200g cakes until prices go back to normal… or if they ever do.
I was there today too. Crazy. Def gonna try to go to superstore on Thursday. Its just such a long drive....but worth it.
bro making moves this year! lets get it! prices look awful lol, still fun to watch the tours. what kills me is businesses or tents like this, have product on shelves they bought years ago at much much cheaper prices.. then decide to put on shelves and take advantage of people. Theres inflation, and theres real deal price gouging for no reason. Now all the new new product they just ordered or just got in i can understand.. but a lot of that stuff on shelves have probably been sitting in offsite containers for years and years.
Backyard Fireworks is a wonderful channel with explosively-great fireworks videos! However, this "buy one, get four free" advertising that Fireworks City pushes is a _bad business practice,_ insulting to common sense & intelligence. These products are simply marked up enough to protect the profit, which is the lifeblood of retail business. I avoid fireworks stores that advertise like this.

I got crazy creatures for 30 last season though shopping early kid didnt feel like looking up the prices anymore and eyeballed it lol.
I was starting to the first tent had pretty good prices. Even with the buy one get 4 free gimmick. Then I saw $40 for Silent Mode, ouch!!! We just got done selling those for $16. Smoke N Mirrors 18 count $138. We sold the 24 pack for $100.
Kinda crazy how prices went way up they are still some cheap fireworks for your buck out there if you really look anyways nice video you got my sub

@@giooo2451 that is not terrible pricing. Here in tents I have seen at $225 for 24 shots. Rocket Fireworks has them for $90 a box. Or $260 a case 4/case or 96 shots. So I picked up a case.

Showtime fireworks is a new brand based out of Indiana in the USA, the tent stores are carrying them because they are a cheap option with no importing and the brand does have decent performance based on what I’ve shot from them
At least that’s what I was told by my local firework stand but could be wrong ^

We shot off a box of those dominator black box artillery shells, the 6 pack one, hate to say it but was disappointed. The ball shells definitely squished with little pressure and was not symmetrical breaks.

I actually picked up the pirate firework a week ago and it is great for its price.
There's a nice fireworks barn about 20 miles west of Hannibal on highway 24 called Walkers, they got some good stuff for reasonable prices if you're ever out that way.
I will check it out!
At 7:26 I would definelty check out the Born on the bayou by texas outlaw. It's my favorite 200g for the price. It's insane, totally worth the drive back over there.

Hey I’m from St. Charles MO but I know a place in Wright city that is way cheaper. They are wholesale and offer case pricing on many items. For instance, Excaliburs 24 shots $80 versus $150 in a tent
Hey I just wanted to say although yes it is cheaper to buy wholesale most people would rather prefer one cake or fountain ec. To have four of the same cake and if it’s a small 200 gram the case could be packed 16 to 1 and unless you are putting of a scripted pro show you don’t need 16 of the same cake. I personally do buy wholesale just because that’s what I do and that’s what I like so not saying your wrong
@@braxtontanner744 I agree with you. They have both options. You can save way more buying the case. But they have a variety of $20-30 500 gram cakes. Them $75-$90 NOAB, fountains, and 200 gram cakes. They also offer some novelty items. Not as many as a tent, but overall it was much cheaper then Phantom (by a lot!) and tents in the St. Charles area.
