an mv about Speckletail and her son, Snowkit..
incase any part of the mv is confusing, here's a summary:
cinderpelt checking on mistlekit, who has passed away.
speckletail, now with only one remaining kit.. cinderpelt comes in to break the news about snowkit being deaf. speckletail rejects the idea that he won't ever be a warrior, she'll train him herself if she has to.
the hawk scene™️.. snowkit is carried off by a hawk.
speckletail moves to the elders' den. the endless repetition in this scene is a representation of her grief.
speckletail and the other elders decided to stay in thunderclan camp to die together, as they won't make the long trip to the new territory. the other elders have all passed, she's burying an unidentified cat, and then lays to rest in a grave left for her.
speckletail enters starclan and is reunited with her son.
the last part where she's burying the others, the only one left before finally accepting her demise and curling up in her own grave nearly made me cry ngl
Poor old mama kitty. This genuinely made me choke back tears. The scene with everything just meaninglessly flashing by is so heartbreaking
About time we get some Speckletail content and not just something revolving around Snowkit entirely like her whole story is sad but I love it-
This video made me realise how much Speckletail suffered.. she lost Mistlekit unannounced then Snowkit... poor thing.. and when she was digging her own grave made me cry so much seeing the rest of the elders die then herself.. she deserves so much love
I just realized that she got to burry the others in their graves but nobody was left to burry her.
ive always loved snowkit as a character, and actually seeing like. a video where snowkit has an effect on the cats around them makes me so happy i love this video so much. god and speckletail.... speckletail my beloved T_T
Stellar work as always, love love the repetition of days in the middle. Really good representation of grief, how her world ended with his death, but everyone else kept going.

Oh reminder! Snowkit isnt the only son speckle lost Lionheart was also her son whom was killed (i think) by the time this event occured. Her only living kit was goldenflower whom had her own battle going on with bramble and tawny and tiger. And seeing as bramble and tawny were the same age as snowkit imagine how envious speckle may have felt of her own daugther’s kits.
which also means since goldenflower stayed behind with her and speckle was the last to survive according to this, that speckletail also had to bury her daughter too.

Goldenflower didn’t stay behind. She and Longtail were the only ThunderClan elders who went on the Great Journey.
I can't believe I haven't seen this sooner, this is absolutley amazing. The moment where Spreckletail dug her own grave was heartbreaking! I love this PMV to pieces

the attention to detail….. and mistlekit!!! its all about snowkit but nobody ever talks about her losing mistlekit first and how much worse it must have made losing snowkit
poor speckletail, all the loss she went through. i think shes probably my favourite cat

I love how you represented her grief and how the style of the lineart changes at every traumatic or hopeless feeling event of her life! Man, speckletail and snowkit deserved so much better. And I don’t know if it was intentional, but I love how the stripes under her eyes look like tear tracks!

This is so Beautiful, I hate how speckletail is treated as a background character she deserves so much more
poor miss speckle... she's always been one of my favourite cats in the entire series. this animation perfectly encapsulates her as a character and i'm honestly a bit obsessed with it! it's so good thank you so much for feeding my speckletail obsession like you would feed sugar to yeast.

I just realized snowkit was taken because they couldn’t warn him because he was deaf
i keep coming back to this, this is so well done u deserve so much recongnition!! the part where snowkit is taken breaks my heart and the sequence of speckletails grief is so unique, then the part where it shows speckle burying the other elders and lays in the grave submitting to her death gets me everytime, speckletail my beloved u portrayed her so well! keep up the great work :)
