This is because there is another thing in play, Christians have a relationship with God which transcends the physical world. The evidence for God that we find in the physical world only adds to our conviction, in some cases it will lead people to come into the relationship with God, but it can and will never be the basis of our faith.

So science uses creation as the standard not the creator. The better we understand the physical world, the better we know about what God created. If we put knowledge of creation above knowledge of God we are not appreciating the creation or God!
Pure science attempts to understand the creators mind, design and properties understanding that all life could not have come about without a creator...the creator being Jesus the Christ. Oh brother you are so close to figuring out the truth of the world we live in. You realize "scientific findings" are dictated by the people that do them. You know the amount of specailized gear and acess you need to study the sky and earth. You even giggle and just how ridiculous the idea that the lights in the sky are so far away. All you need to do now is some "science" to check and see if the earth is in fact a spining ball andyour journey to God's truth will be complete.
