Hey thank you for this. First option did not work UNTIL I did the volume up, volume down and then power button very quickly. Speeding up the steps did the trick. Saved me a trip to the Genius Bar. It's amazing how we are SO reliant of these things.

Any suggestions as to why the screens become unresponsive frequently? I've done the force restart every time it happens and it solves the problem, for a while. No set pattern of time until it's needed again. I'm up to date on all software as well. I have the 13ProMax. Thank you for any guidance you might have.

Did not work. Never dropped, never even bumped it slightly. Screen went totally black (running ios16). iPhone 13 is only 7 months old. Of course this happens while making sales for work!!! Tried new charger, tested on other iPhone so charger does work. It was at like 45% battery life and just went black screen, totally dead. Been on charger for hours, still no luck.
This helped but I have more more questions. Why does it freeze? Is it a random bug or something? I’ve never dropped my phone in water nor cracked it and it’s also up to date with the updates. Any idea on what it may be???
@@phoenixflorencemavis my phone literally freezes pretty much everyday! And although this method works, I sometimes have to do it 3-4 times to get it to work! So frustrating! And I have only had the phone for a month! When are they going to fix this bug?

I went to the AT&T store, and I was on the phone with the Apple guy and they couldn't tell me that!!!! I 'm on call for medical emergencies and you may have just literally saved a life.

Dont worry about loosing anything with iphones if you use icloud cos everything backs up!
