I can’t tell you just how much I love my 6 weeks working on the build, it really is the highlight of my year! (3 weeks making ribbons for the ribbon tower and 3 weeks on site) the work is its own reward! 2019 was one of the best!
@Matt as of yet we’re not doing any site work, I still have 120 ribbons to make and a whole load of fence panels, absolutely gutted but hopeful that something will change in the meantime!
I absolutely loved it, this was my first year hopefully not my last! We had stunning weather and it was always a good atmosphere! Hats off to these hard worked they literally make the place look like it’s just been dropped from space 🙈 Arcadia Pangea was unreal! The flames and that huge crane spinning around were a sight to behold! Some of the stages had so much detail in them they were like works of art! Loved it can’t wait to go again! Fingers crossed I’m lucky enough to get tickets for the 50th can’t wait to see what they come up with next 👍🏻
Everything you said here, I second it was my first and it was amazing! I got tickets for 2020 but sadly it isn’t going ahead. But 2021 will be even better.
@@samuelwardell1233 2021 it is. I was there for the 40th and I'll be there for the 50th. Apparently Glasto/BBC will be doing something this year online/TV as a bit or a virtual festival.
Nothing on the heris fencers who are their 1 month 2 weeks before the festival and the same after taking it all down , its shocking how every year you lot miss them hard workers out . Piss take to be honest !! It not just all about the stage people infrastructure and painters ffs .Some people are their for 3 months...!!!
