It's the hotel problem not parents problem to crash their room. That's us, we close our bedroom door then our 2 monster be knocked on the door then I had to sleep my kids to sleep. It's 3am back to my room but at 6:30 - 7 am be awake up get my daughter ready for school..
Went home after a 7 month deployment out at sea. Haven't seen my family for 3 years because of plane ticket issues. Anyways, when I got home, I surprised my parents and siblings. My mom balled her eyes out while my died nearly shot me lol. Few hours later, I went inside my parents room and laid in their bed and just thought about memories of the past of how I use to sleep in their bed. My siblings came in after and we all just fell asleep in their bed. I woke up around 3 in the morning and was covered alongside my siblings. I looked for my parents and they were asleep in my room. It felt good to be home again.

As a mom of an 11 year old I can’t tell you the amount of times he sometimes just asks to sleep in my bed. One of the times I asked him what was wrong he said “Nothing is wrong Mom I just love being with you and feel the safest next to you.” He’s such a sweet kid.

On friday night's I let my 10year old son sleep next to me because well simply to put I get to enjoy this time before he gets too big for this😆 plus before the night's over we watch a movie he picks out🌃 I mean every Wednesdays is our special hangout night where we get drink a hot cocoa coffee mixture I make(he didn't get to have coffee til his 10th birthday because he wanted to feel like a grown up LOL) so nowadays I mix a little coffee into his hot cocoa and we drink this with a side of cookies, slice of cake and or whatever sweet I have available at that moment🤗 I thought I share this little side story because I love sharing this story to fellow moms as a cool idea to do with their child(ren) as added on cherished memories to do in their life before the little one(s) get too cool for us and rather hangout with their friends...

Now they are so busy they have no time to sit with us,maybe a movie on tv once in a while when we order pizza. I'll take any time they have for us. So my dear, cherish these times you have with ur son. ❤❤

These moments we make now with them will be so special for them to look back on once they grow up. Your doing a wonderful job keeping your bond strong with your son and I love it.
