Great review… I’ve got the Beeman P17 in 177 and 22. Love the 22 best. Also the Diana LP8 Magnum and the Zoraki/Webly Alecto in 177 and 22. Keep up the excellent reviews please. 👌🇬🇧⭐️
Ill be able to do this challenge soon also. Im wondering how ill shoot the powdered guns after the last few years of shooting in the basement. Year old video and still informational to me. I also like when you talk about those older airguns you get and give some history on them.
Both are good shooting pistols. Got the 1377 in earlier & seems to group well but that factory sight needs improvement. When reversed that peep sight is closer to a pinhole for me. Lol Drill time. Pink nail polish helped the front sight & doing well inside with 4 pumps. Appreciate all your info & tips. 👍 🙏 🇺🇸
I had a brand new P17, I liked it, no recoil, and a light trigger. Unfortunately I had to take it back, it wouldn't fire, even though the safety was off. Sometimes it would only fire if I pulled the trigger twice. It was very unsafe. This put me off it. If I had got a good one it would definitely have been a keeper. But I exchanged it for an umarex Ruger. The trigger is heavier, but I have either adapted to it, or it has got lighter with use. Either way I have got quite accurate with. I practiced; and being a bit of a novice with pistols, I have no regrets. The ruger hasn't developed any faults with some heavy use. It hasn't malfunctioned and is safe to use. I am not a mechanic so I couldn't even try to fix the P17 myself. I suppose the moral of the story is that if your lucky enough to get a good one, I would keep it, and look after it because the one next to it on the shelf could be a real stinker. At the moment I am keeping my Ruger. Its a good enough for me. Its the quietest neighbour friendly gun I have. Maybe I will buy another P17 in future. But at the moment I am happy with what I have got. Especially since I have 1377 as well. I use a stock with it. But to get a nice light trigger, there is a cheap kit available, which is easy to install, and allows you to adjust it.
@@WalnutandSteel They sent a picture to my phone with it against the bottom of I hope your rail on porch. Standing on its edge. Any neighbors have a wooden deck? 😂

I like mine too, but it does shoot a little low and I can't get the rear site any lower.
