I’m 56 now and the older I get the more it feels the time flies. Things that feel like they happened 5 years ago are actually 10+ years ago. I see people complain about turning 50 and I’m always like I wish I was still 50 ya know? Then I try to make myself feel better and think that someone say 65yo would give anything to be 56 again 😂
So true! I'm 37 ish and the last 14 years... (and more), just feels like it never happened that fast. The younger people here will only realize all this when they get older ;)
Time goes faster as you age from relativity to time. • When you're 10 years old, 1 year = 10% of your life, so 1 year feels long. • When you're 50 years old, 1 year = 2% of your life, so 1 year feels much quicker.
Happy to know that others feel the same way 😄 I do think she's a pretty great actor as well. Her performances in Ingrid Goes West, Emily The Criminal and Black Bear were amazing
What coincidences: I’m turning 40 on September 13th, right on the release date of this movie!! And I love Aubrey Plaza since the « Happiest season »! ❤
Im 62, still in great shape, 5'10", 172 lbs. Still wearing a 32 inch waist, i still feel like im in my mid 30's, you're only as old as you feel, or young
I enjoyed hearing the line in the movie revealing the title and the context of it's name. Don't see that too much, and definitely more clever than your average switchy-schwoo movie title.
This looks great. But I got to say, 40 seems so young now that I hit 60 and actually feel like I’m having a “midlife” crisis. The 40s were effing cake!
There's a lot more ageism against us women. I feel great at 40 and finally have so much to offer the world and partners, but society tells me I'm old and don't deserve love simply because I'm not a dude. It's so stupid. Especially since men age more than women. It's why men put up old photos but women put up current photos and just say they are 5 years younger😅
Only really three or 4 places i go for intellectual property of support 1, Aubrey plaza ❤❤ 2,shailey Haley 3, yes kati morgan all of wich are genius in the braxton injf ,, but actually the genius,, most woman are born, naturally injf regardless of the testing but are a yhreat to the world as we know it the brother of men,, but even the strongest of men understand the true potential woman hold within ❤❤❤
I have mixed feelings about this movie. The last scene in this trailer was the biggest turnoff, but still kinda interested. Audrey Plaza is a big reason for the interest. It's like a movie I'd go to on $7 Tuesdays at this 1 theater, but like, I'm there for another movie, & it gets out. Then I'm like, "oh, it's still early, & I have all you can eat & drink soda & popcorn. Whatelse is showing?"
Finally a fresh idea from Hollywood and not a rehashed, updated for today's insanity and PC culture. /s It would be nice if they had a new idea now and again.
They released the trailer (or at least this video was uploaded (maybe they released a trailer for this yesterday someplace???)) 1 day after Aubrey Plaza turned 40 🤣
Aubrey was the young 20 year old on Parks….. sigh…. So I’m starting to think everyone goes through this, but I’m 43 and I’m telling my newly minted high school graduate niece that this is the time, and she’s so lucky and not to waste it. And she gives me that sure response nodding. But I’m looking at her and I know she doesn’t get it and she’s taking that youth for granted. I tell you. Being young, means you get to make mistakes and recover. Your brain, body, and soul is brand new. You can do whatever you want! But them kids don’t get it. I sometimes think an 80 year old is saying the same thing about me. I’d really love a do-over once I finish my current life.
You can still make mistakes at 40 😅. Maybe because I'm neurodivergent, I worked and studied in my 20s so I could travel and find love now. There's no timeline you have to follow. Corporate society made people think we have to do things in a certain order because that's how they designed it (for neurotypicals who think of women as cows). But many of us don't believe in that crap.
You are correct about everyone going through it. I was looking at a picture of a friend's dad when he was 50 (he is gone now) and realized we are all older than his dad was in that pic. It shocks you sometimes.
In film it is used as a device for introducing something 'impossible'. It is the same as the coming of age trope that uses magic as a puberty analogy. Or the traumatic event to introduce a psychosomatic monster. But I personally think it would be more interesting if this time spirit appeared without any obvious entrance point/justifcation.
Aubrey Plaza has got to be the most awesome woman in Hollywood. She is so down to earth, funny as hell and extremely talented. I am literally in love with that woman

As a 48 year old, nearly 49... well shit.

I am open to watch any movie with Aubrey Plaza, she brings special energy to everything.
Ditto. Love her.
Same

I agree 100 percent. Most recently I saw Emily the Criminal and Life After Beth. Both great movies. She was great in Scott Pilgrim too.
Facts!

Ok Boomer.

@@stevegonzo2091 thank you 😉
When did Maisy Stella grow up? I still see her as a child from the show Nashville! Now I feel old.
I was thinking the same thing. But I'm happy she doesn't look plastic like her sister does.
It only gets worse.
40 years old is a very young adult these days. 20 years old is baby. 30 years old is tresh. 40 is the new 16. Get into it.
You wish
I AM 40, and i wish you have rights...but you do not

Looks freaking amazing lol- what a spin to put on cherishing time & life!! And w/ such a great cast!! 💯😄

I think this movie is about getting your midlife crisis out of the way in your twenties.
@@MiesAnthrophythat makes 0 sense
😂Just a shame about your brain!👶
I love friendly movies featuring people hallucinating the whole movie
Not sure if I'm more excited about the movie or the classic Tame Impala song
This makes me love Aubrey more and more.
So great to see Maisy Stella again! Can't wait!
"A Future Classic" It does look like it 😍
How so ?
See Aubrey Plaza in Black Bear. She is great in that!!!
I enjoyed hearing the line in the movie revealing the title and the context of it's name. Don't see that too much, and definitely more clever than your average switchy-schwoo movie title.
Gee, I wonder if there’s anything besides angst in this movie.
Sure there is, even just in the trailer.
This looks awesome, a great kind of weird, while being relatable, and with Audrey . Who wants more?
LOL yeah Audrey is the new and improved Aubrey!
her name is Aubrey plaza not Audrey plaza. you might want to fix that
40 is the new young adult
This looks great. But I got to say, 40 seems so young now that I hit 60 and actually feel like I’m having a “midlife” crisis. The 40s were effing cake!

It's just going to make me wish it could happen....
“The only thing you can’t get back is time, but you will have to spend time to get back other things”
Ugh Life is so depressing
“Old. Young…… just words.”

what's the song on the trailer?
Feels Like We Only Go Backwards - Tame Impala
"Aubrey"
I'm a very young adult is what I'll be calling myself from now of on.
I LOVE Aubrey Plaza. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I wish I could be friends with her.
oh cool I'm going through the reverse of this, I'm the one that's 40. I mean they're both me, but I'm more me than the other one.
Cool, saw the movie. No need to see it in the theater.
Audrey Plaza is one of the few hot women that is also funny
Not suprised crap like this was in Sundance.
Every Aubrey knows what it feels like to give up and start responding to Audrey.
I wanna be mad but I would flirt with a clone of me too 😂

*AUBREY. Jesus Christ.
So I'm guessing these ain't gonna start project Mayhem huh?
Aubrey Plaza is a treasure. She's like a real-life Wednesday Addams.
So, these girls go on a mushroom trip while camping one one of them hallucinates Aubrey Plaza.. Sounds like a solid pitch!
I think I like this.

Kinda reminds me of The Kid
Pass
So... they're not going to kiss?!
The younger actress bearing no resemblance to Aubrey Plaza is distracting…I guess Jenna Ortega took a pass!
Aubrey plaza is a piece of ace and actually funny
Women Complaining - the movie.
Thanks for putting the entire movie in the trailer. Now I don't have to see it.
Maybe it's better in the actual right order.
Aubrey Plaza is 40
Drunk driving kills. Distracted driving kills. Speed kills. Please...stay safe out there! Value your life...and the lives of others!
Another movie about rich kids. k.

all these movies come out where money is not only not a problem it's just assumed to be there.....
My favorite movie is "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" because I just love a protagonist with a twisted back story.
Nobody cares.

Aubrey Plaza is a damn National Treasure!
Pretty sure that was Nicolas Cage. ;-)
@@tomsteele937 Looking forward to the next installment of the National Treasure franchise -- "National Treasure: Aubrey Plaza."
Aubrey* Plaza :-P --- this looks hilarious!
it does? It's a comedy? that was not evident to me from this trailer.
Looks kind of funny and I am here for any Audrey Plaza movie. Putting in on my calendar :)
as someone who just turned 40 i think this movie will be very depressing, ill still watch it
I was in the best shape of my life at 40
Saaame 😢😂

Aubrey plaza. A 40 year old woman who still looks 28
No it’s not! It’s Audrey Plasma

What if this is a sequel to Safety Not Guaranteed :D
deep cut
If only... but some movies don't need sequels. A little mystery and open-endedness is nice.
Psychedelics are fun, but watching people pretend to be on them on film is not worth it.
That's funny, and true!
They weren't pretending. watch the behind the scenes
I know they should have put them on actual psychedelics and then made the movie

definitely a 2 vomit bag film.
Another DEI Shitshow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avoid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nope.
Seems forced...but maybe.
it took me the entire trailer to realize that aubrey plaza was supposed to be an older version of her that she was hallucinating.
Looks like it could have been halfway decent without the obligatory ABCXYZ nonsense shoved down everyone's throat.
Audrey Plaza is amazing, and this film looks incredible!!! :D
I guarantee that this movie will be completely annoying.
Aubrey Plaza 😍😍😍😍😍😍💓💓
Huh, this looks different! :D Definitely always here for an Aubrey Plaza movie!
I’m dumber for having watched that trailer

But yes. We all are.
SNNNNOOOOORRRRE
If I could talk to my younger self I would definitely tell myself to watch out for the female chads I dated. I’d be so much happier now.
I thought this was a trailer that Aubrey thought was really old.
She IS 40!
at 64 enjoy cause the older you get hurts more
Lol, no.
gross
Aubrey… not Audrey. Js
