The kill shot came from the front slightly to the driver's right. It came from a sewer drain open space. It was an Italian Assassin brought in through New Orleans by the Mafia. His backup co-shooter fired from the Grassy Knoll but appears to have missed or shot over once he witnessed the kill shot. Oswald was in the Cafeteria on a break when shots were fired.

The FBI had 20 photos of Oswald in Mexico City, and yet all of them are of the wrong person. Older and heavier. And even so, this person applied for a Visa using Oswald's I.D.
The person described as Oswald in the CIA Mexico City memos (or the photo(s) they thought was Oswald) bears no relation to him in face or physique. The memos between the station in Mexico City and CIA headquarters where the staff is trying to figure out who Oswald is and just what he looks like, by themselves show that Oswald obviously had no connection with the CIA (or FBI).

Russia and Cuba were smart enough to figure out that the fake Oswald was not who he claimed. And Hoover acknowledged this. But still, what was he doing applying for a Visa with Oswald's I.D. Those things do not happen by accident. If that is not clear evidence of a conspiracy I don't know what is.

No. Files have not been released because there was a lot more to the events than the mafia. I suspect that some of the still hidden files pertain to politicians and people in the news media.

Yes, I tend to agree. The post assassination coverup was conducted by politicians who did not want an investigation to uncover embarrassing secrets that some of those political "investigators" wanted to keep hidden.
The mob may have helped recruit some of the anti-Castro Cuban exile hitmen for the CIA but they were not the hitmen, and more importantly, the Mob doesn't have the power to cover up the records for 60+ years. That is all CIA.

@@jaysonb.6669 What is the “Michael King“ about? Also, did that journalist have credibility or was it someone just seeking attention? It would be very difficult to get a hold of those transcripts. You would have to be very high up in the CIA and/or FBI to even get a peek at them, if one was assume.
Those last 3% of documents that haven’t been released on the JFK assassination have to be very bad for the government not to have released them still. It has to be something worse the Mafia and/or Russia or Cube being involved in the assassination attempt.
All of the FBI knew that Oswald was on good terms was Russia and for sure would have assisted an assassination on him. JFK had _so_ many enemies that it’s difficult to ever tell what exactly happened. Worse still, we will probably not never know the full breadth of what took place because the gunman was taken out immediately and then Ruby was silenced after that.
