I was crying like a baby. Absolutely incredible these people.
As someone who struggled to not cringe through Suvi's behavior in Arc 1 I have grown to appreciate just how much care and attention have gone into the performance of Aabria.
Suvi is a complicated character and seeing these moments that are not just who she is, but shaping who she will become is mesmerizing. Loving every second of it
Wizards in this world suck. Aabria ROCKS though!
I never really felt angry at Suvi even as she got frustrating. She felt like an younger sibling, lashing out because she feels like she has to prove something. Watching the Fireside chats on Patreon really helped me get a deeper insight into her decisions and reactions. These are some masterful storytellers. They understand their characters on such an intuitive, visceral level. Some of the best DnD I have ever seen, up there with EXU calamity
Fear is sinking into my heart as I gradually catch up to the latests pods. I don't know how I'm gonna handle those cliffhangers 😅
Seriously. I binged this series for the past two weeks. I don't know if I can even survive waiting that long or even longer BETWEEN two episodes.
If someone edited this whole series down to just the Fox I would play that on loop! I love that little bastard.

Genuinely i love every single one of these characters. Theyre so complex and juicy. UGH. Suvi crying into Steel. Ame relinquishing herself to the potential that fate may seal her doom if she doesnt see her friends again. And EURSULON WHOLE STORY DESTORYING ME.

I see, we have plenty of time to sit and peel onions, but not a few minutes to wait and see what Steel found out...
Ame is a pretty annoying character in this arc
To someone with crippling doubt and insecurity, who feels at once a burden and burdened by the impossible weight of expectation, patience in the face of a frightening deadline can feel like death. Waiting for someone else to learn what you already know is moving backwards. At least, to Ame, being home is making progress. Being home, she can prepare; she has her missing missives and the time to learn the secrets of her home, but more importantly she has time to _breathe._
I would have played her the same way.
Surely you can see that even Steel understands why this was normal behaviour for someone in Ame's situation. She wakes up after a one month coma in a place she didn't even plan on going to, surrounded by things she cannot understand, burdened with an entire lifetime of memories she has had no time to process. Just as she's easing into it she gets told by bathroom popsicles that she has to decide on a venue for some great conclave. And then gets told immediately after that her failure to show up could end in not only her destruction but that of her station, the fine thread that holds all of humanity in this vast matrix of moving parts. Steel has already made her wait a whole 12 hours. She has been explicitly warned the citadel will obstruct Suvi. The goalpost keeps getting moved and she's running out of time. Apart from the sheer mechanical benefits of a witch's sanctum, that's where all the missives are. Where all her sources of power are. She is surrounded by tentative allies who cannot fathom what is at stake. I know I'd want to get out as soon as possible
I fully started crying like a baby at the end when Eursulon met his sister.

I could’ve sworn that the prophecy to Suvi was that Steel/The Citadel wouldn’t let her go to the North Pole. Also, wasn’t it supposed to take a long time to get there by sky ship? Like longer than the time left before the conclave. That’s why they needed to teleport, no?
I had a feeling that eccentric old man wasn't telling them what they needed to know to get the best outcome. He knew a lot but only said a little.

From what I remember it was that Suvi would not have permission to go. He never said who's permission I think.

@@j.prt.979I meant more along the lines that she won't get Amee or the other witches permission. That's sort of the trick of prophecies.

I feel the same about Ame she's just doing whatever the FUCK she wants and it seems like she doesn't think before she acts and Suvi has to deal with the consequences of her foolishness

I totally get you man I like to watch the Game of Thrones with the Lannisters completely edited out. God knows I have no idea what's at stake or what the fuck is going on, but I will die before someone gets me to add nuance or depth to my perspective
