@@karlingmaradamson Yeah... I missed the vinyl release of that EP, because I stupidly assumed (as it turns out) that the first single would be on the album. Oh well... Lesson learned the hard way.
Im hearing like The Embarrassment, 80's Flaming Lips in the vocals and Last, troskey icepic, 100 flowers in attack and if the nuggets or better yet the best catchy not hardcore/industrial moments of sub pop 5-9 shaking all the indulgence and squeezing the windbagyness out of the elephant 6 stuff lol silly Or its another gbv album doing and sounding like gbv at same time sounds different also. Rockathon records usually gets lp's to my house well before there intended release dates . Not this time though , im wondering if there has been a delay . Has anyone had there copy arrive yet ?
There is indeed a delay on the vinyl (CDs are shipped/shipping), according to Rockathon. I have the LP on order too, here's hoping the delay won't be too long. Cheers!
It's like a long-lost Nuggets compilation, or the Harry Smith Anthology of American Psych Music.
Met Harry...we had an annual show featuring his work
So many gems on this... the XTC comparison is warranted... WONDERFUL!!!!
If Andy and Colin can't get back together, then I guess Bob and his buddies will do in the meantime 🚕 🚕 🚕
this is officially the summer of CSBP
Flip Flop World is Bob speaking in his sleep dreaming about Elvis.
"She Cannot Know" is a remake of "Deaf Dumb and Blind Girl" from Suitcase 4.
Nice catch!

GBV went full WEEN on this album!! luv it!
Jesus, I so needed validation on my earthmobile driving habits. Thanks, Bob. Earthmobiles are us.
Ready for a ride in the magic taxi!
The guys are having a massive amount of fun on this record
Magic Taxi is brilliant, it's like a song Jimmy Webb would've written while high on PCP. Simply effulgent.
Great commentary
I had to look up that word, effulgent. I like it. I'll be shoe-horning it into my conversation for weeks to come.
simply ebulient
I'm pretty sure Bob, instead of compiling Iodine Book Report Disc 6, just recorded it himself.
joy ensues

Hey man, I'm doing the poster for the Boston show. It's based on the song "Indian was an Angel".
@@revisionscreenprinti I’m doing the NYE poster. I’m thinking Dirty Kids School/Alice Cooper School’s Out desk top as poster.
GBV goes full on Dukes Of Stratosphear. And I love it!
yea this is a great side project
difference being, this one won't ruin GBV
