I worked in hospitals and nursing homes for around 30 years. I was a hospital orderly from age 18 to 21. I took a lot of bodies to the morgue, I assisted the pathologist with post-mortems when the lab guy was on vacation.
I was an E.M.T. on an ambulance. I was an Army medic.
I became an L.P.N. I worked on med surg, psych, addiction, and geriatric units. I worked in the Energency Dept. I saw a lot of different injuries and gross stuff, but no spooky stuff. I had some scary patients. But I saw no Twilight Zone or Supernatural stuff.
I worked in Las Vegas for a few years. No Area 51 stuff happened, but I had a lot of weird, high, and drunk folks in the E.D.
My career was disappointing as far as supernatural stuff goes. I always wanted to see something that was unexplainable.
    I am jealous!
I'm retired. I enjoy your stories.
    P.S. Boo!!

Weekends when the moon was full meant that there was going to be a busy night in the E.D.
Sometimes when I was walking in to the Emergency Dept. entrance for the 11p-7a, or 7p to 7a shift, a city police car or two, county sheriff's cars, or the state police were already parked by the entrance. I knew it was going to be wild. Sometimes, it was a combination of two or even all three agencies parked. Crazy nights during full moons are definitely a thing.
I got so I would not go to a bar during a full moon weekend.
When I lived in Vegas, I would stay home nights when the moon was full and I wasn't working. I felt sorry for the Las Vegas Metro PD, casino security guards, and all other first responders.
I would occasionally hear or see the PD helicopters flying in circles over crime scenes. I had a 7th floor apt. and had a great view, I could see the Strip from my balcony.
