Now, I might be wrong but I think this game is going to share the same fate as all the other horror movie multiplayer games. Like Friday The 13th, Chainsaw Massacre, Evil Dead, ETC. even if it’s a good game.
The reason games like this die quickly is no content updates, I’m not talking about cosmetics but maps and balancing. Plus if there’s no incentive to play and work towards most people leave, there’s to many options with games these days and people’s attention spans are worse than they were when you could make a game and people would play it for 3 years.
Also the reason why DBD has survived so long is because they are not tied to one IP so they can add loads of stuff from other films. I’d say most people who played TCM have never actually seen the first film they just like the setting.
