Good luck with your open world game! I now from experience how hard handcrafting something like that can be but it gives so much more soul to a game. Best of luck!
Hi! I'm on the same boat, working on an open world game alone 😅 good luck with your project, I will stick around and maybe share an idea or two. My only suggestion for now is adding IK to the animals so they align with terrain to make them look more real.
Cool bro! Gotta give you a heads up tho. If you are starting as a new game dev with unreal engine you are probably gonna experience quite a tough learning curve. While the tool is amazing and cool, it is quite the challenge to work with. The best of luck tho, and i hope you have fun making cool stuff :D.
@ thanks man. I suffer insomnia so at least when it taxes the heck out of me I can’t blame it for my sleepless nights. I used to enjoy coding a LONG time back (like in the days of 8 bit BBC Basic) so I’m pretty sure my eyes will simply glaze over every time I open Unreal for the first 6 months.
@@tirednsleepy44 I see :). Knowing some code will defo give you an advantage. I hope epic start making more documentation for new users. It would make getting into it a lot less daunting.
@ I don’t have any bigger plans other than just to learn for now, then I’ll see if I develop any grander ideas from there. Even if all I get from it is learning just a little bit I’ll be happy. I just enjoy tinkering with things.
good luck my guy, a word of advice, at first, flash out very well the core mechanics of the game, animations, locomotion, fighting if there is any and so on, then design the map, a vast world with nothing to do in it is not very fun isn't it
Good luck bro ill be with you every step of the way
Thank you so much for your support!
"People call you insane until you succeed, after that they call you a genius". Go for it brother.
i hope i will succeed then XD Thanks for the encouragement!

Best of luck to you
Thanks a lot!🙌
I’m saving for a build to run unreal at the moment because I’ve wanted to try my hand at getting creative. Good luck with your project.
