Game of Thrones "Tower of Joy" is a Real Melted Castle. Castle of Zafra, Spain.

Sometimes one cracker leads to another, searching for better photos for yesterday's Castle of Peracense Post I came across the magnificent, clearly melted, Castle of Zafra.
This was used for the filming of "Game of Thrones" and appears as the "Tower of Joy".
It is on private property and not accessible to the public, so close up photos were proving tricky to find. I was starting to think I might have to actually watch game of thrones 🙈🤣 but my persistence paid off (with a dozen other incredible leads) and some nice closer shots.
This one has bricks tumbling out of the rocks at ground level, bricks below and between the rocks close to the castle summit and bricks in the body of the castle.
