Great work CS2C. I really enjoyed this and now appreciate how small everything is there! The river is different since the rain especially at the weir.
I really like how thoughtful you are. Thankyou.
I left England 20 years ago and now live on a tiny Pacific island. This made me really homesick for the very first time! Beautiful countryside and the birdsong too, lovely x

I just can't help but think it's improbable Nicola would attemp taking her own life by jumping/entering that river at the bench point or elsewhere. In practice this would mean walking into the river, taking a few steps toward the middle where it becomes deeper and then submerging your head and forcing yourself to stay under for long enough to lose consciousness; all while fighting against your instinctive drive to survive. Or, taking a controlled big gulp of water and intentionally directing it to your airways (not an easy thing to do, plus, can be done without leaving home...) and then trying to force your head under the water surface. Nicola would have to be in an incredibly unstable state to believe this could be a successful way of taking her life and not for a second think there is 100% chance she wouldn't be noticed doing this - let's not forget, allegedly, only minutes before she was seen by (and saw) in that area by other dog walkers. Surely she could not be sure these were the only people who could walk in on her struggling (with herself) in the water. She was neither stupid or unstable enough to conclude this was a viable way of ending her life. Cold water shock could play part, but still, she would have no way of knowing whether she would be affected by it. There's just no way, in my opinion, she did it to herself in that river. There are more reliable ways of taking one's life and she would have known this.

Just a couple of months ago a lady finished work early, walked to the park and did some yoga. She then went to the river and took her jewels off and went into the river. I do believe something in the brain shuts down, the part where you have fear and you kind of go into a trance like state. Ms Bulley had been in a very bad state of mind a while before the incident, where the police were called out to her home to carry out a welfare check. Don't forget, we never really know what goes on inside someone's they may appear ok on the outside but dying on the inside.

I had another idea that I wanted to see as well. I want someone to do all the things that Penny did, and see how long it takes. She gets there at 9:30, finds the dog running around, catches it, and ties it up with string. Notices the phone on the bench, and the harness by the river. Looks at the phone to find out who's it is. Sees the screensaver is Nicola, and Paul. Gets a number off the dog collar for the vet. Goes back to caravan park. Phones vet, phones school, and calls her sister (Ron's wife) Talks to sister, and tells her to tell Ron to tie up the dog (even though she tied it up). Then Ron's wife phones Ron at 9:33. So that is 3 minutes!!!
So time that by doing it yourself, and filming it.

Every one of the 'caravan crew' have done nothing but spout bullshit from the moment this story broke. Surely the police know this. A reconstruction of the lot of them would expose their statements for the lies they are. Why haven't the coppers done this?

You should also know that caravans are standard practice for the hiding and the distribution of drugs. One thing I doubt your aware of is most of the players attended the Masonic Lodge in Blackpool including high ranking officers, the director of the Lodge is Anthony Ansell, but you should be aware that the river is only 2/3 ft deep in that part of the world. 🐼

    • @axelusul

Some great points, if people were aware of the current situation about the area it is not hard to see what potentially could have happened. There are so many coincidences, links and local knowledge that obviously cannot be understood by all. I believe the public will never know what happened now because of the political and police ramifications. The girl deserves justice, but others looking at a bigger picture don't see that as the most important current action. So sad. For such a small and quiet village and area it is mind blowing but not unique as to the "models" of organised crime that run here and all over the country.

Jon said if she needed privacy she might have taken two other routes, but if you genuinely want privacy & you genuinely want to end your life,
Women would be much more likely to purchase a bottle of booze & pills & sit In the car in a remote location.
Or attach a hose to the exhaust & inhale carbon monoxide in the warmth of your vehicle.
Or book a cheap room in a hotel, lay on the bed & take a handful of pills & booze, but there's no way a good swimmer would have jumped into a freezing cold river on a cold January morning, & in a location so close to home & her kids school, where her children have enjoyed walks with their mummy & padding in the river with willow.
A mother would not rob her children of their special times with their mummy & her 3rd child & no one will convince me otherwise.
Tired of waiting for LP to do the job they're paid to do.
Poor Nicola was murdered whilst those responsible are still walking free pretending to be the injured party.

The dog could easily get over that style and if you had springers like I do you would know how great they are at tracking, especially a very fresh, familiar scent like their owner. Willow would have had to have been tied up not to follow. Going by her behaviour and knowing the breed I would say Willow picked up the scent from her phone and was trying to locate where it was coming from. If Nicola had gone over the stye, willow would have too and been found where she went in. Nicola was never there that morning, too many suspicious circumstances including the 10th. Apart from incompetence or a cover-up,
the only other thing I can think off, & I know I'm clutching at straws here,
is because this has happened in such a small rural close-knit village community, & according to LP & the media, it has affected everyone.
Is there the smallest of chances that LP are giving Nicola's young children enough time to come to terms with the death of their mummy before they upset their little lives again?
If the two people that many suspect are involved,
it would mean other childrens welfare would also have to be taken into consideration re the timing of possible arrests & maybe some kind of child welfare intervention being set up at the schools to ensure all of the childrens welfare is considered.
I really don't know, like I've said I'm probably clutching at straws but this case has seemed very different from similar cases that have occured in cities & towns precisely because of where it has occurred.

It makes no sense for Nicola to leave the area without tiring up Willow first. If the dog is untied, the dog would simply follow. So leaving the area would be extremely unlikely based on the eye witness report.

Even more convinced that it was not Nicola in the field walking Willow.
    1. If she had planned self fate and considered to walk past the stile for more privacy then she would not have taken Willow with her.
    2. Willow could easily jump that stile and follow her, we have a cocapoo( mum a spaniel) and he could absolutely clear that!
    3. If she had planned self fate I hardly think she would bother logging in to a teams call and arranging a play date in her final moments.
    4. If it was the spare of the moment self fate see point 2.

A great video. Which in a way has led me to write this. Quite a few things hit home for me watching this. Before I begin, I realise and know many people go through things, that nobody even those close to them would know. I am only going to speak from experience. Many years ago, I went through some trauma and ended up in a bad place. Dealing with myself, I kinda lived with blinkers on, day to day. I was later told by family and friends, I was merely not me, and knew something wasn't right. I never spoke about what I was going through, and was on autopilot. I will not go into details, but when you are at a certain place, you know enough is enough. For me it was planned, the place, away from everyone and very much alone. Obviously, I was found but to this day, never found out who by. Spent days in a coma, my recovery was slow and mentally and emotionally I got the help I do needed. I am thankfully in a very good place and since this time have three amazing kids. But, also learnt never to bottle anything up, also not to be afraid of how I feel. The point of this is we never know what someone is dealing with or going through. Mental health can affect any of us. Family and friends can also at times not realise. For example, I was always known, has "happy go lucky and nothing bothers him" . A lot of people have made judgements and assumptions, I am not saying anyone is wrong. I like so many do not know. I just wanted to put it out this out there. Rest in peace Nicola 🙏💜

I can’t believe out of 700 cars, not one has caught a glimpse of her on the busy road. If we think that someone else may of walked willow instead, then I can’t believe they would have taken the risk to walk from the car park to the fields, only one person who knew this person spotted them in that narrow lane, then it would be over and they would have some serious questions to answer. Is it possible willow was put in a car and driven around closed to the field avoiding cctv, walked to the bench but making sure they were seen, but from a distance so not to be recognised.Placed the phone and harness, and got out quickly. Again it sounds very far fetched, but I’m struggling to understand how Nicola wasn’t spotted anywhere

I do not comprehend Nicola actually being there 27th January walking her dog, also even the S.A.S couldn't have snatched her in the window of time given by Lancashire Police.

Thank you so much. Best footage of the area by far. According to Nicola's strava she never walked past the red brick building but would instead walk up the side of the hedge that split the two fields with the hedge to her left and then take a diagonal across the lower field back to the kissing gate.
Something that struck me when you did the walk is that when you got to the path near rowanwater where the 9.10 "witness" allegedly saw her she was allegedly walking east. But she would actually have been walking west I think? So yet another thing that doesn't make sense.
And I'm really curious to know what you think about comments that the 9.10 "witness" wasn't white fluffy dog man at all but a female witness. Original reports talk about a 9.15 witness walking a labrador (Mirror). Is it possible this is the 9.10 female "witness"?. Anyway, would love to hear your analysis on all that. You are by far the best youtuber on this case. Thank you.

With all the police searches etc I can't see she went in by the bench. It's hard to drown yourself your reflexes would stop you, in my opinion. Plus foul play is still very possible.

You should have timed how long it took to get from the upper field to the bench .Then timed how long it would take from where the witness seen her back to the exit .Assuming the met walking in opposite directions .In otherwords having crossed paths in the upper field .It stands to reason they would cross paths again .Nicola returning to the exit the witness returning to the exit going the otherway.I assume the witness at 9.10 left the area before Nicola .Why because that witness would see willow by the bench .Even so that witness if they left before Nicola would still see her again walking back to the bench area

He said it can look still and calm on the surface but have currents or issues underneath which make it treacherous. He said the searchers could have been searching very close to her, and have just missed her. It happens, he said.

My only thought is, if NB did leave the bench to cross the stile and attempt fate along the lower tow path, then why leave her phone on the bench in full view of passers-by?

Nicola would have used the lead that's rarely mentioned to secure her 3rd child to ensure Willow didn't follow & could come to no harm.
I think jon might have felt a bit intimidated & shocked by how small St.Michaels was compared to how it looked on our TV screens, & I also think tracing Nicola's walks would be emotional for anyone who has followed her case.
I've said for weeks that Nicola's planned murder & disappearance was never expected to become national news. They thought that it being such as small close-knit community in a rural pretty village, it would be an open & shut case for local news only of an accident or suicide.

I think Nicola was murdered the night before.
She had a meeting with her boss the day before but no specific time is given so we don't know if that was before or after her children arrived home.
Reports state that her Dad said the meeting was in Garstang, but there was also rumours that it was in the grapes pub in St Michaels.
We know Nicola's parents dropped the children back & kissed Nicola goodbye but again, they didn't state what time that was, but considering the youngest child is only 6 years of age & it was a school night, I assume it was early evening, probably around 7pm.
Nicola's sister had messaged her about a spa date on the Thursday evening but she received no reply from Nicola, again, we don't know what time the message was sent.
All women love to be pampered at a spa so it's odd that Nicola would ignore her sisters message, but the next morning take the time to email her boss, arrange a playdate for her children & log into a regular works meeting before deciding to top herself.
It seems to me that whomever had Nicola's phone that morning was afraid of replying to her sisters message regarding the spa date arrangements because they knew there was a very good chance Louise might ring her sister if they'd replied to the message.
Whenever I've been arranging anything via message with my sister or friends, one of us always ends up ringing the other one.
Nicola lived on a fairly new small housing estate in a row of just 5 detached houses with no homes overlooking theirs & with hedgerows blocking the view from the road.
In the small hours of a dark January morning it really woudn't be that difficult to roll a vehicle onto the road without starting the engine.
When a murder Is planned, it's not unusual for a parent to add a sleep aid into their childrens bedtime drink to ensure they sleep through any disturbances.
I think the items bagged up by forensics at Skipool may be connected, despite reports claiming it was unrelated to the NB case.

I watched a programme the other night, on a young girl aged 26 was found in the river. The pathologist said she took her life, 35 years later which was a couple of years ago, they reopen the case she had been raped and murdered. Nicola would never of left her girls.

Until today, this theory hasn’t been presented again and it always rang true to me. The gentleman in the blue jacket showing that entrance not covered by CCTV was obviously there. If you watch "Michelle After Dark" for recent proof a Springer Spaniel can easily jump that stile gate or find a way around it. The dog would follow it's owner. Willow didn't because it wasn't it's owner that day.

@@Michelle1983lou Yes Michelle they do seem to be clingy dogs. Michelle After Dark's runs off then continually comes back to check on her where she is.. also depending how you bring up your dog they rely on a human and most dog breeds would follow an owner but being a Spaniel it's a no brainer. Willow was planted. Ask yourself most likely who the person(s) would be who could get hands on the poor little girl and stage it.
