Stunning scenery! I have always said that Grand Teton NP was my favorite - but Banff and Jasper may be rivals now! Hope to visit soon.

Just when I thought I couldn’t be more excited about going to Banff next year, I just caught a glimpse of my favorite Canadian restaurant on the corner in Banff towards the beginning of the video. Earls!! They have a couple locations here in Colorado and it’s one of my favorite places to eat. I hope you ate there while you were there with your family. I love your videos and I’ve already purchased your guides for Grand Canyon and the Utah Mighty Five! We are going to all those places in 2024! The information that you provide is so valuable!

Wow! What a fun trip you have ahead of you. You will have to let us know how it goes! As for Earls, we did not eat there but I have added it to our list of places to try. Thanks for the suggestion!

Nice vid. Fernie is cool too, and is on the way from Montana/Whitefish/Glacier Park to Banff/Calgary.

The Trans Canada highway actually starts on Vancouver Island the city of Victoria BC , And speaking of mountain trips Consider Vancouver Island both the west side with the wide open Pacific Ocean beaches , Long Beach with the mountains in the background , Then the East side of Vancouver island protective great beaches , no surf ,, Also the Okanagon valley with The cities of Kelowna and Penticton BC this is semi desert with a lake in the middle of the valley ,This is the wine capital of Canada with grapes growing everywhere,

I have used several of your videos for planning our national park trips. We are currently planning Glacier, Waterton, Banff and Jasper for two weeks in the early fall. I am trying to get a sense of what is the most efficient way to route this trip. From North Carolina, fly into Kalispell- Glacier west to east then head north. Kalispell north to Banff and Jasper then back down. Calgary to Banff and Jasper then to Glacier and circle back. Any input would be valuable. Thank you!

We did Glacier (W to E) then went north to Banff and Jasper and then circled back. It worked great. Also, the Going to the Sun Road is best viewed going West to East (although you need a reservation during peak hours). Going East to West, you don't need reservations.
