And they’re often solved with personal aspirations. It’s as if saying something on pride isn’t admitting you’re really doing it for yourself or that someone close to you, but rather believing you’re doing it for the betterment of everyone. Shulk did it for Fiora’s revenge but after the twist he hopes she can recover into a Homs body (for the Future). Zanza's grasp on fate prevents such things. Rex did it for Pyra/Mythra to smile again from their trauma (from the Past). Malos is the source of trauma. Even Lora and Melia can have similar “selfish” goals that are actually better through honesty. Melia wants closure on High Entia, and Lora wanted to be remembered by her companion. Noah wants to one day meet Mio again and not be stuck in stasis (in the Now). Z refuses to change the status quo. Matthew wants to protect his sister Na'el and bring her home. Alpha wanted more than a need for the comfort of home. Klaus however, thought he was doing humanity a favour.
I was wondering how Rex, Shulk, and Rikku are able to live extremely long lives. Statues stated that Glimmer and Nikol were able to live 80 years then I see Rikku in both Future Redeemed and the main game. I'm like "How long do Nopons live again?"
Highly appreciated and concise breakdown of XenoBlade 3, it’s DLC and quick overviews of the first 2 games as well. Very well written and scripted although I feel a couple of important things were skipped but I understand the focus had to be on 3 in order to keep this from blowing up to 3 hours lol.
@@OtakuDaiKun Definitely, I think they’re how I found you actually. Then you helped me find a couple of new anime already in some of your compilation vids 😁
I wish the dlc was the main game. I finished it so quickly and it was just getting fun. I like that cast a lot more and it could have honestly been a very good prequel to then see shulk and co join the main group in game instead of half the forgettable seventh party members we got in story.
Interesting. What exactly was it about the party members of xenoblade 3 that you found so forgettable that made you prefer the cast of future redeemed over them?
@@anxhelovucinaj1576 they started off fine enough but a lot of them fall flat into their roles and the start was great up until gernica died then it all went back into generic story like og with shulk. Plus i said seventh party member. The 6 core members could use this help with shulk rex and co as good tutors as they are much more interesting than a lot of the side units we get that slow the main story to a crawl with all the side missions. Aside the queen's they were cool but they are post story so they don't count
@@ivanbluecool Fair enough. Personally I found the xenoblade 3 cast to be my favorite because their interactions felt like actual human beings talking and their development was a lot more subtle which I appreciated but to each their own. Although I do agree that having Shulk and Co be their mentor type figures would have made the story better
I honestly wish future redeemed got to be its own full game instead of a way to patch up the missing parts of 3. Just make 3 without those missing parts cause it does a disservice to both
After playing through future redeemed, it makes me wish they combined the main game and prequel dlc into one big game where it has all of the old and new characters working together instead of treating the old characters as cameos like Melia and Nia. I also liked how the other 2 Xenoblade games had multiple villain factions because they gave more depth to the stories, like what they did with Egil and Zanza or the Torna group and Amalthus. So I found it a wasted opportunity that they didn't do something similar to Xenoblade 1 where there would be this first group of bad guys, and then have an even bigger bad guy revealed somewhere at the end for Xenoblade 3.
I knew Xenoblades’s timeline was wild but I’m really confused now. I understand Xeno 1 and 2’s lore relativity well and how they both originate from the same world through game play but I never knew how this all tied into 3.
Doesn't Noah already have the sword of the end with the purple sheath in his last life before N's creation ? I'm pretty sure we see the sword during the flashbacks of ghondor's birth and Noah's death. Which somehow means he received the sword from either Riku or Melia for some reason AND already has the sheath with possibly Logos' core and the moebius' symbol before he even turned into one. There's really too many plotholes in this game.
Part 2 goes public on Thursday, but if you're clever, you can find it linked at the video's end card and watch it right away!
"The path to hell is paved with good intentions" is pretty much the definition of this series

Also Shulk and Rex want to stop Alpha for their children’s existence.
Good intentions!? N actions were purely selfish
Takahashi has been cooking this ever since Xenogears
Probably not, tho I guarantee there are ideas he's been reusing since then.
Rex is such a chad.
It was a great lore video and your video made me understand the story better.

He had kids with all three waifus. Cheeky bastard. Then again we never really get a “next generation” when it comes to the Harem trope

Well, regarding the first two games, I have separate lores for those.

Pretty sure I’m dumb 😢I hardly got any of this playing the games. Thanks man and for not making up oddball 💩 like everyone else
Props for explaining such a difficult story so well
That was fun to watch, ^^

Last time I was so early there was no rant video about the style the story is presented in before.

Well, the sheath is just Noah's regular blade, which I assume he uses in every incarnation. I don't think lucky seven is in there yet.
