Snow day in the Hakatere Conservation Park

A bit less of a tramping or 4WD adventure and a bit more of a fancy dog walk. Heading up to the Hakatere conservation park after a snow storm to enjoy the views and to give our former Guatemalan street pup (flightlesskiwi...) a chance to enjoy some snow. More tramping videos coming soon… there's a lot, I just have to make time to edit them!
This is a great video for dog people and people who can't resist snowy views, but tramping (hiking) wise maybe the only real highlight is an example of an ill-advised river-crossing technique at about 1:09
