It’s great to see that the air cooled scene is alive, with social media I was able to hook up with other vw clubs just like it was in the 80’s. Great video
Nice clean Bug and very cool you built it yourself! I got my first one in 1981 and still roll’n . It’s great to see the younger gen keeping the scene alive. You rock young man!
Kevin greetings from Jamaica my name is Errol Cain (Billy)and I am proud of you for owning a VW ,I once owned 3 busses 2- 1974 and a 1975 I now own a Crew Cab pickup 1973 and will be restoring it soon because of covid it has stalled, trying to get parts and so when I am ready things will be in place, sorry I can't be a member of your club, bless up,be safe and stay healthy Bug Family.
i just bought a 1972 yesterday.. i should be making a bunch of videos soon here getting it to run and working all the bugs out.. LOL.. the battery was installed backwards.. and they were working on it like that.. i subbed.. i want to be a part of the VW community for sure
Awesome! Great to see the passion he has for it! Moreso, learning how to drive is his 1st Bug! I too had my 1st auto as a Bug, back in '87. Bought my '65 Standard for $900.00, saved it all up by flipping burgers at McDonald's!
So cool man! My first bug was a 69 when I was 16. I haven't put the keys down since either! My 62 bug is almost out of the paint shop, and I have dreams all the time about it. Some of my dreams are super realistic feeling, ill have a dream that my bug is finished and ready to drive, in the garage waiting for me. When I wake up I would feel super stoked! only to realize it was just another teaser dream. Oh well, soon enough. I love your rack! I have the regular roof rack, but I love the one you have. That bug is sick! You are such a cool cat, your passion is infectious. You remind me of Andy Anderson the skateboarder, check him out. He has the same passion you do, and a similar look as well.
Nice Bug for a 72 I'm Restoring a 67 VW right now with a narrow beam and pan half and new transaxle and hopefully a set of porche wheels Waiting for the weather to warm up Hope you VW drivers out there are not waiting for this $7 a gallon gas which is here you guys and girls be safe out there stay out of trouble.. PEACE..
I like it the only thing I would do different is to pull the bumpers off unless it's required by law. Always forget how small these things are until you see one in traffic with modern cars
“Weather you’re going fast or not; you hit 70miles per hour in a stock bug, you’re holding on to dear life.” FACTS 🤙🏼🤙🏼

“Your holding on for life”. So true and it’s the same exact reason why I love driving them 👍🏻
Awesome interview cool young man. Happy to see a new video us volks folks need these
Great looking car. Very similar colour to my 72 Beetle that's Zambezi green.
