Have you ever reflected on the role that patience plays in self-discovery and personal growth? Could practicing patience with yourself as you face setbacks and challenges help you build a stronger, more resilient mindset?
I felt an attraction to a girl I met at 12. 3 years later her friend told me that girl liked me but I was very shy. 40 years later when we were 56 we met up on FB. She had lost her husband and I had been divorced from a bad relationship. That was 14 years ago and we have a love in our hearts we have never felt before.
I met my current wife at the age of 14. I had previously gone to Catholic schools and now in high school I see a girl that I can’t stop staring at. I would wait for her at my locker every morning. I finally asked for her number but when I called I didn’t know what to say. I called a second time and this time she took control and invited me to her church. Sunday arrived and she showed up with her boyfriend driving and took me to her church. Needless to say I was broken hearted. Monday arrived and I waited at my locker just to see her walk by. As she passed a voice; not my own, said “Some Day”! I answered that voice with a firm “ yea right”! 33 years later I meet her again and this time I tell her all about the 14 year old boy that was crazy about her! I used to write her name down over and over as if she was already my wife. I shared with her everything I thought about her at 14. She’s my wife today and I’m pleased to say that everything I felt at 14 I still feel today. Our relationship has been and is a dream come true.
My sweet sweeeeeet STEPMOM passed away from Cancer, bacterial meningitis, lungs infection, kidney failure, fits, strokes internal bleeding and finally heart failure. She was only 48 year old ,but I know she’s in Heaven!!! She wasn’t just my mom, but my best friend. Please pray for her.
I looked after my parents for 14 years before they died, then I was diagnosed with cancer. I then met a young woman who I felt I had met before, I thought I knew her but had never in reality. She must have been about 36. We chatted a few times, and I must have said something she did not agree with or like. Over the last two years she has destroyed my life , and my confidence with her vicious gossip. I’ve no recourse. I no longer trust women, or try to engage with strangers. She has been a dark shadow on life. I really could have done without it. The end result? I avoid anybody that is negative or causes me stress.
I used to think I was above it all, but those vexing people in my life turned out to be mirrors reflecting my own flaws-embrace the discomfort, it's where real growth happens.
I've had the opposite experience. I thought a person came into my life at a low point to help me get past my divorce. But as we became close it occurred to me that I came into her life to help her get out of a bad relationship. Any help she gave me was a bonus. We've lost touch over the years, but there is no doubt in my mind that we were meant to meet at a time when she needed someone like me to be there.
Just remember who you are going through a divorce after 30 yr with s Narcissistic now realizing as this video states those I have met through the past years and now have been a blessing in many ways good bad and ugly but knowing who I am a good person keeps me moving forward sounds like you are a good person that's what matters❤
Funny how life throws us together in the most unexpected ways. Sometimes, it's not about who rescues whom, but about how we both end up saving each other from ourselves. I remember a time when a stranger's kindness pulled me out of my darkest hours, only for me to realize I was meant to light up their path too. It's like the universe has this twisted, beautiful sense of humor, bringing people into our lives just when they-or we-need it most.
I met my good friend 3 years ago and there was an instant soul connection .We’re much allike and very different at the same time I Call her my Earth Angel and we learn about ourselves through each other .Being friends with her means I want to better me to adapt some of her qualities who doesnt come natural to me .She brought laughter back into my life , so grateful for my soul friend She makes me wanna grow my own qualities I actually had a vision Dream where we sat in her kitchen and She had the most beautiful White Angel wings on her back .Im convinced She really is an Earth Angel who came into my life 🙏❤️
I just had an interview for a job I had a basic understanding of. It turns out I wasn't a fit for the role at this time. I was almost going to just cancel the Interview and go about my day. I ended up talking to the recruiter and she gave me career advice and introduced me to an area of study I had never heard of. This new area feels like a fit and is something I knew nothing about. I now have new career paths I can look into while I continue to work at my current job. I can see how this new career path can have more importance and meaning compared to my current job. All it took was maybe 8 minutes of our 20 minute conversation. Had I just declined, I would not have gotten that useful information. Had it been with a different recruiter, they could have just agreed I wasn't a fit and moved on to the next candidate. I can feel my career path shifting and it's all because of a chance 20 minute encounter.
Sometimes, the universe gives us exactly what we need in the most unexpected places. I remember a time when I almost skipped a networking event because I thought it would be a waste of time. But I went, met someone who introduced me to a completely new field, and it changed the trajectory of my career. It’s funny how those seemingly insignificant moments can have the most profound impact. The key is to stay open and curious, even when you think you know what’s best for you. Often, it’s the unexpected detours that lead to the most meaningful destinations.
I hadn’t dated for seven years. Someone I loved died and I felt loss without him. Actually, I loss three people that meant the world to me and this guy was the last person, who gave me support and made me feel whole. After 7 years I bumped into someone while walking. I thought he was handsome. I smiled but kept going. He sent me a friend request on Facebook. This was the same guy I bumped into while walking. A few months later, he invite me out. I thought he was too young and my first reaction was no. So I delayed in responding. I finally responded and said yes. From the first bump into, to the first date, to the first hug, I felt there was more. It’s like he sees through me. We started seeing each other. Whenever I see him it’s as if, we connect. I can’t explain it. He puts his arms around me and I feel safe.
Sometimes, life has a funny way of bringing us what we need when we least expect it. Like that chance encounter-you know, the one that starts with a simple bump and ends with a soul connection that feels like home. It's like the universe’s way of saying, "Hey, there’s more to this story." I remember when I was at my lowest, thinking the world had taken everything from me, only to find that the most unexpected moments could spark the deepest connections. It’s those moments that remind us, even in our darkest times, that we are never truly alone. You see, sometimes losing ourselves in someone else’s eyes helps us find the parts of ourselves we thought were lost forever. It’s not about filling a void; it’s about discovering that the void never really existed.
Funny how karma works-like that time I helped an old lady cross the street and ended up getting a free sandwich from a stranger later. Feels like the universe's way of saying, "Hey Sam, here's a little something for not being an asshole."
"Every person crossing our path is a mirror, reflecting a piece of our own journey-embrace the unexpected teachers in your life, they might just be the Zen masters you never knew you needed. 🌟 #Serendipity #ZenWisdom #LifeLessons"
Totally agree. There are no coincidences in life, everything happens for a reason and everyone who enters our life, however briefly, has a role to play. All this help us in our journey through life and realise our true purpose. Thank you for this wonderful presentation 🙏🏼
I used to think that meeting people was a casual encounter until I realized every handshake either shifts our universe a bit or detonates a transformation within us-like the time I met a stranger in a bar who, with a single conversation, led me to question everything I thought I knew.
When I met my first husband. I knew him instantly. When I met my second husband, the same. And when I met a good friend. Beautifully illustrated ! Thank you 🙏💕🌷
Funny how we sometimes recognize the most significant people in our lives instantly, like they've always been a part of our story-whether it's a partner or a friend. Reminds me of the time I met my cat; within seconds, I knew we'd be stuck in a love-hate relationship forever. Life has a twisted way of setting us up for the connections we need, not the ones we expect.
Yes I have felt that. That is true. No meeting is by accident. Thank you love this phrase it is not who came first to our lives. It is the ones who came and never left.
I used to think letting go of anger meant losing my edge, but I realized it’s like finally dropping a bag of bricks I’d been carrying around for years-freedom tastes better than revenge.

I have noticed this--and it is probably true whether I have noticed it or not. One very small example that I can describe happened to me when I was wanting to say something--something encouraging--to a boy who I had worked with in a school in that city but who I knew I would probably never see again. I was getting ready to leave that city at the end of the school year. As I left the school which that boy attended, he was RIGHT WHERE HE NEEDED TO BE and moving in the right direction on the sidewalk for me to casually say what I had wanted to say. (Numerous other examples of people and situations being just right for me to be helped or for me to help someone else have occurred in my life.)

After listening to something like this your mind immediately wants to make sense of it within your own life. I cannot say with any truth that all the encounters I've had with people both here and abroad meant something to myself or to them. It is a nice sentiment though to believe that all encounters are meaningful no matter with whom that is.
I had an old sensei who called people who came to you with doubt and unwanted advice "sign posts" on lifes pathway. I have that in mind even this many years. I makes things so much easier.
Yes we meet others for reasons we don't understand. Some of those reasons may become apparent years later. Some you may never understand. All however have some means of shaping us.
You mean those people who affect you positively. Everyone comes in by chance. Some we hold onto, others may harm us terribly. We’re not responsible for that. And they don’t make us stronger, even if we manage to survive them.
On a sunny morning under a blossoming cherry tree, an elderly monk named Hotaka was meditating when a young man named Hiroshi approached him cautiously. "Master," Hiroshi asked, "why do I sometimes feel an instant bond with some people, while with others I sense discomfort?" Hotaka opened his eyes, which twinkled with wisdom, and replied, "Dear Hiroshi, no meeting is a coincidence. Each person you encounter plays a specific role in your life's story. Some stay briefly, while others linger longer, helping you through various seasons of your life." He pointed to the birds soaring in the sky and continued, "Like those birds, we don't fly randomly through life. We are carried by unseen forces, meeting others for reasons deeper than we might understand. Think of your life as a garden," Hotaka added, his voice calm and soothing. "Each person you meet is like a seed that destiny plants in your path. Some grow into beautiful flowers that bloom brightly but briefly, while others become mighty trees, providing shade and shelter for many years." Hiroshi reflected on the people who had come and gone in his life, likening them to various plants in a garden, each contributing in its own unique way. "The ones who hurt us," Hotaka continued, "are like stones in our path. Though they may cause us to stumble and feel pain, they also make us stronger, helping us grow and find our inner strength." He gestured toward a sturdy tree nearby. "And there are those who support us during stormy times, much like the roots of this tree hold it steady against the winds." Hiroshi thought of a friend who had been his anchor during a tumultuous time, a solid presence he could rely on. "Some people," the master concluded, "remain with us forever. They are like stars in the night sky-constant, bright, and guiding. These are our true friends, family, or soulmates, with whom we share both the burdens and joys of life." As the sun dipped lower, casting long shadows beneath the cherry trees, Master Hotaka shared a profound insight with Hiroshi. "Every individual you meet is not just passing through your life by accident," he began, his voice resonating with deeper truth. "Imagine life as a grand orchestra, where each person plays a unique instrument. Together, the music they create influences the course of your journey-sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically." "Consider this," Hotaka continued, pointing to the flowing river beside them. "Just as each drop of water contributes to the river's might, each person you encounter adds to the river of your life. Some are like small tributaries, bringing new insights and energy, while others are like undercurrents, challenging your strength and resilience." Hiroshi listened, captivated by the metaphor, as Hotaka elaborated on three profound types of individuals we meet: The Catalysts: These are the people who compel us to move beyond our limits. They challenge our complacency and push us toward new horizons of understanding and achievement. Like a stone thrown into a still pond, they create ripples that change the very shape of our waters. The Nurturers: These are the ones who nourish our spirits, providing comfort and support. They are like the sun to our gardens, helping us grow and flourish even in the darkest times. Their presence reminds us of the goodness and light in the world. The Reflections: These are those who reflect back to us the truths we need to see about ourselves. They help us acknowledge our weaknesses and strengths, driving our personal evolution. "With each meeting, no matter how brief, a lesson is imparted, a gift is given," Hotaka explained, his eyes gleaming with wisdom. "These lessons weave into the tapestry of our existence, each thread as crucial as the next." As the lesson neared its end, Hotaka looked earnestly into Hiroshi's eyes. "Now, young friend, remember this: life is an intricate symphony of encounters. Listen carefully to each note, harmonize with the melodies around you, and contribute your music with intention and grace."
I am blessed to KNOW this TRUTH since very young!❤ Because a Catalyst and a Divine Nurturer entered into my physical life !!❤❤I am eternally grateful to the Universe! ❤❤❤
Sticks get together and together begin to sail on the waters for some time. Then new sticks get together and move together ...... That's life ! 🙏 All shape our lives, a few accompanying, a few guiding, a few just passing by.....
One time a dog came into my garden and took a huge shit. It was unsightly and it stunk, but it’s organic too and at the end of the day bettered the garden. I love RUclips.
It's amazing how some people briefly touch our lives and spark significant changes, while others stay with us much longer, shaping who we are. Each encounter holds its unique influence, reflecting the interconnected nature of our personal journeys. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Also their time period in your life is done. I have had a lot of people in my life who played specific roles and left once it was done. NEVER EVER feel bad for letting go.
The story of your life is a book your higher mind has created before it projected itself into the story to live it. The lesson is that you need not worry about your future, ever, because the story was written in advance, it has already been worked out for you and so you need not worry about it during this life experience. By worrying about it, you are resisting the ideal story and go on needlessly complicated tangents.
I meet the love of my life. She is 30, I am 60. I could be her Dad. I respect her and will always love her from afar. It hurts , but we are friends,. I am just to old.
Whatever! All these years I kept myself open to welcome all kinds of people bcoz I was told it takes all kinds to make the world. From now, I have decided to apply a filter in my life. I decide whom I should allow to enter into my life. The ones I can't vibe, not my type, not my requiremts, I'm definitely going to push them away from me. Only genuine people are allowed in my life.

I love this, hopefully you reconnect with her.
Pretty good summary of what life journey is all about

Thank You 💕❤️
You are welcome 😊
After listening to something like this your mind immediately wants to make sense of it within your own life. I cannot say with any truth that all the encounters I've had with people both here and abroad meant something to myself or to them. It is a nice sentiment though to believe that all encounters are meaningful no matter with whom that is.
The video is simply about the lesson we learn from every encounter
Thank you
You are welcome. Thank you also for your support
This is akin to:-"Reason Season Lifetime Poem"!
I had an old sensei who called people who came to you with doubt and unwanted advice "sign posts" on lifes pathway. I have that in mind even this many years. I makes things so much easier.
Interesting 🤨. Thanks you
The fact that nobody talks about the book whispers of manifestation on borlest speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance
Yes we meet others for reasons we don't understand. Some of those reasons may become apparent years later. Some you may never understand. All however have some means of shaping us.
Exactly. I am going to pin 📌 this. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing the video that was a powerful lesson. 😊 💕
You are welcome, Sir. I appreciate 🙏
You mean those people who affect you positively. Everyone comes in by chance. Some we hold onto, others may harm us terribly. We’re not responsible for that. And they don’t make us stronger, even if we manage to survive them.
Thanks for your question but the truth is that no one comes into our lives by chance. There’s a reason and lesson for every encounter
The art and story were so beautiful. Thank you ❤❤❤
You are welcome. Please keep supporting me

On a sunny morning under a blossoming cherry tree, an elderly monk named Hotaka was meditating when a young man named Hiroshi approached him cautiously.
"Master," Hiroshi asked, "why do I sometimes feel an instant bond with some people, while with others I sense discomfort?"
Hotaka opened his eyes, which twinkled with wisdom, and replied, "Dear Hiroshi, no meeting is a coincidence. Each person you encounter plays a specific role in your life's story. Some stay briefly, while others linger longer, helping you through various seasons of your life."
He pointed to the birds soaring in the sky and continued, "Like those birds, we don't fly randomly through life. We are carried by unseen forces, meeting others for reasons deeper than we might understand. Think of your life as a garden," Hotaka added, his voice calm and soothing. "Each person you meet is like a seed that destiny plants in your path. Some grow into beautiful flowers that bloom brightly but briefly, while others become mighty trees, providing shade and shelter for many years."
Hiroshi reflected on the people who had come and gone in his life, likening them to various plants in a garden, each contributing in its own unique way.
"The ones who hurt us," Hotaka continued, "are like stones in our path. Though they may cause us to stumble and feel pain, they also make us stronger, helping us grow and find our inner strength." He gestured toward a sturdy tree nearby. "And there are those who support us during stormy times, much like the roots of this tree hold it steady against the winds."
Hiroshi thought of a friend who had been his anchor during a tumultuous time, a solid presence he could rely on.
"Some people," the master concluded, "remain with us forever. They are like stars in the night sky-constant, bright, and guiding. These are our true friends, family, or soulmates, with whom we share both the burdens and joys of life."
As the sun dipped lower, casting long shadows beneath the cherry trees, Master Hotaka shared a profound insight with Hiroshi. "Every individual you meet is not just passing through your life by accident," he began, his voice resonating with deeper truth. "Imagine life as a grand orchestra, where each person plays a unique instrument. Together, the music they create influences the course of your journey-sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically."
"Consider this," Hotaka continued, pointing to the flowing river beside them. "Just as each drop of water contributes to the river's might, each person you encounter adds to the river of your life. Some are like small tributaries, bringing new insights and energy, while others are like undercurrents, challenging your strength and resilience."
Hiroshi listened, captivated by the metaphor, as Hotaka elaborated on three profound types of individuals we meet:
The Catalysts: These are the people who compel us to move beyond our limits.
"These lessons weave into the tapestry of our existence, each thread as crucial as the next."
As the lesson neared its end, Hotaka looked earnestly into Hiroshi's eyes. "Now, young friend, remember this: life is an intricate symphony of encounters. Listen carefully to each note, harmonize with the melodies around you, and contribute your music with intention and grace."
You too much my friend. Thank you 🙏
😇🙏🏻🌎
Thank you

Nice....Life is full of chances, circumstances, Situations and Directions. If ye increase in God, ye will make it out and if ye decrease, it will.
You are 100% right. Thank you so much.
One time a dog came into my garden and took a huge shit. It was unsightly and it stunk, but it’s organic too and at the end of the day bettered the garden. I love RUclips.
Thanks so much

Yes, I hv come across a Catalyst ( which lasted for just 4 months) & 2 such reflections( which are there with me for over 24 years)... ❤❤❤
It's amazing how some people briefly touch our lives and spark significant changes, while others stay with us much longer, shaping who we are. Each encounter holds its unique influence, reflecting the interconnected nature of our personal journeys. Thanks for sharing your experience.
You mature when you learn that trees can also become stones
This is deep
Huh😮?
When we meet these people that we connect with why do they disappear .😊❤️
If they disappear, it means they are not meant for you. Better people will still come.
Also their time period in your life is done. I have had a lot of people in my life who played specific roles and left once it was done. NEVER EVER feel bad for letting go.
@@sahaniperera3 You are right.
Count ur blessings and keep walking. U may have connected, they just lied about being connected.
Exactly why do they disappear when you already connect so heartbreaking
The story of your life is a book your higher mind has created before it projected itself into the story to live it. The lesson is that you need not worry about your future, ever, because the story was written in advance, it has already been worked out for you and so you need not worry about it during this life experience. By worrying about it, you are resisting the ideal story and go on needlessly complicated tangents.
Thank you for your contribution. I appreciate 🙏
I like your story***
Thank you so much. I appreciate 🙏
Love this!
Thank you 😊
There is always a lesson to learn from them
You are right. Thank you
I meet the love of my life. She is 30, I am 60. I could be her Dad. I respect her and will always love her from afar. It hurts , but we are friends,. I am just to old.
Love and respect are what matters
Maybe you had a past life
At that time when you both met, you needed each other to learn and grow from that relationship. Stepping stones of life.
Great truth act like light house in life journey
Thanks for your support
🙏
You are welcome
Now that's the truth
Thank you so much
Most come into your life at the wrong moment and or try to upset your happy life.
You are right
That is the spirit 🙌
Very true!
Thanks
