I think this series all comes down to how the mavs defend the 5 out offense, cause although okc played 5 out offense but they have josh giddey, but for celtics i think we can never let anyone shoot wide open shots.

After watching the Mavericks in their last 2 series I just love that's teams confidence and they attack defenses.
Kyrie and Doncic have destroyed defenses inside and out. the Celtics really haven't played anyone close to this Mavs team in the playoffs and they've been sitting around forever so it wouldn't surprise me if Boston comes out a little flat. I might be completely wrong but I like the Mavs in this series IF they can guard that perimeter which Boston wants to shoot a lot from.
Dallas needs to steaL GAME 1 to setup this series for them to take.

The narrative flipped, it went from Boston being the favorite to "the people" backing the Mavs. I think it will be Celtics in 6. It seems like their time and the their last finals is still fresh on their minds. I can also see this being Celtics in 5 if they come out hot

I can see that happening, but to be fair Luka and the Mavs play better AWAY from home so I would actually flip that. But I can also see this being a slaughter and Celtics in 5.
Well, you did your best. We do know that the Mavs will run the hell out of the pick and roll. Luka eats bigs for lunch makes that hard for Boston. Lively on Porzingis? Wow, Lively is so good at covering the 24' three and the lane. Brown on Luka should be better than Holiday. Tough. Boston already shoots 6 more 3s a game than the Mavs, only making 2 more. White has to primary on Kyrie, gets beat. Maxi is go to bench and maybe a touch of small ball if Lively on Porzingis. Oh well, Mavs figure out how to clog the lane and win in 6. Dallas forwards for over 20 a game and the centers for 20. Oh yea, Tatum takes the blame after the series.

Id say keep lively and gafford at split PT. Keeps em both fresh and able to go much harder when they are out there. Portymorty would last 30 min with those two.

@@12branko12 i know their 5 out offense, they can switch everything, they only blitz 1.5% of the time, they hunt mismatches a lot. their offense are mostly attack the mismatch and if help came then kick it out to any open man since all 5 can shoot the 3. (at least their 8 man rotation can shoot 3s above 35% with brown being the worst shooter among them 8)

Wonder what Mazulla is gonna do to counter that. Celtics didn't have to make ANY adjustments thru out their whole playoff run. Other then KP being out obviously. We'll see how good of a coach he really is in this series.. One area that Mavs have an advantage in....

@aceloco817 yeah and they can come from any player from anywhere at anytime even kyrie been catching a few lobs. We got shooters too anybody can catch fire and hit 5 or more 3z the backcourt too smart with too many weapons.
