That wasn't the cockles, that was fishcake. Cockles are like clams. The dessert is called Cendol, the syrup in it is called Gula Melaka from Malaysia(Malacca). Different stores have different taste on their chicken rice. Some are sweet, some are aromatic and some are bland.

Angel! You were super accurate with pronouncing "Fried Kuay Teow"!! Btw the square, slimey thing @2.56 that Crystal ate was fish cake hehe. The second thing @3.44 is actually egg hehe! And the white square thing @8.32 is some steamed rice flour :) But so glad that you both are so adventurous in trying new dishes!! :)

The dessert with the red bean paste is called chendol. And the syrup added to it is actually brown sugar syrup. To eat it u guys must mix it all together. Than u can get the whole taste of it. Sending love from Singapore.

Omg i love fried kway teow! The first thing u picked up and thought was a cockle, it actually is just fish cake. 2nd time its still not cockles but just eggs haha!
Cockles are really tiny and they dont put much of it in there honestly.
The sauce for the satay is peanut sauce.
The dessert is chendol. The syrup is usually made from palm sugar.

Oooo chicken rice traditional local food also my one of my favourites it’s true that Singaporean’s love spicy food so mainly most of the stalls are spicy but hopefully u got the feel of what we Singaporean’s eat on a day to day basis.
The radish cake is made with corn flour and small dice of radish in it so it is not totally radish 😊 so they will steam the flour so the soft texture is actually flour

PTW: guy the drink that you drank it’s kind of like kamquat soak in salt to persevered. Which is good for your health. Especially when you have a sore throat it will help soothe it.

kway teow is is flat noodle made out of rice, and you need to tell them if you don't want it to be spicy, usually they will add some chili when they fry it (frying the chili will make the food smells nicer)
satay (meat on skewer) should be eaten with the peanut sauce, the sauce will balance the sweetness of the meat
the shave ice desert, most likely with sweet condensed milk (it is not milk, mostly sugar), and the green stuff that tastes like nothing is cendol, you need to mix it with others (that's why the shaved ice desert called es campur, means mixed ice)

Wow how's the Singapore hawker foods that you'll tasted & I know that there are many foods you haven't tried before as there many dishes which local favorites so I hope that you can try something new local dishes there & you'll did a great job for showing local foods in hawker center so that Tourists can try the local & cheap dishes here that they never tried before. I like to take pulpy orange juice and pour it in a bowl, put the bowl in the freezer, and then eat the pulpy juice like a sorbet... *so yummy*

halo halo, adobo, pancit, lumpia and lechon are 3 must have foods from the philippines!!!! (and filipino bbq on a stick)
The roasted chicken, the rice is actually chicken rice
The kway teow is basically noodles except thicker and wider
The kebab(Sate) is chicken/pork/cow/goat on a stick and it's a very traditional food in Indonesia the sauce is like peanut butter
I think the honey drink is Sinom
The dessert is called chendol, it's not suppose to be that sweet but it depends on the store

And the dessert with the green think is actually red bean with coconut milk and brown sugar and yes the green thing is made of flour. You need to mix them all up and eat. Enjoy singapore 😊
Haha fun video! You guys should do a collab with a singaporean youtuber and maybe they can bring you around for the best foods and places in Singapore!! Different Hawker centres are famous for different dishes so it’ll be Super great if you know where to find the best ones! When are you guys flying off? Maybe you could check out the Marina Bay carnival before you head off ❤️😄!

The sauce on the ice kachang is called guala malaka and the green thing is called chendol
It's called Sate it is basically chicken,lamb or pork on a stick and the sauce is actually like peanut butter and know this cause that's is tradition in Indonesia & I live in Surabaya

I love how they pronounce certain words I’m from England so English language is my language and listening to them speak English with an American interpretation is funny,like we say kebab as ke bab but they say ke bob 😂

Chinatown must be really packed as it is nearing to Chinese New Year. I've been to the Chinatown Complex before and most of the stalls is operated by the elderly, so there is a traditional taste to the food compared to most indoor hawker centres. Hope you enjoy the food we have here in Singapore! And yes, I am team pulp for sure! Gonna be at your meet and greet later too!

Awesome video ,the meat on a stick is call satay and the dessert is called ice kacang it's basically shaved ice red bean condensed milk and that green stuff is jelly that should usually used for either deco or for taste it should have a bit of the condensed milk on it
The dessert at the end is called bingsu. It is a very popular dessert in Asia.
I'm not sure if that's a different type of cockles but I love cockles where I come from ( Wales) we have them with a traditional Welsh breakfast. I also eat them just as they come in the jars they are pickled kind of. But all that food looks soooo good

I get the orange juice from the store that says most pulp. My brother said if he wanted pulp he would eat an orange.
That's what pulpy juice is all about! You are basically eating an orange without having to peel it!
