AHHHHHH THAT HOOKSET THOUGH!!!! Sheepshead is my favorite type of fishing. Some of the best fights I have ever had were from sheepshead.

Sheephead are hard to catch but easy to eat. It took me forever to learn how to catch them. We didn't have the internet when I started fishing
I imagine it probably took some trial and error to figure it out! We are definitely spoiled now with the internet showing us everything
Apart from the black bands on the fish, they are exactly the same as our Bream down in Aus. 😁👍👏👏

Alabama. They have them at a few different locations to help protect the marsh when we get bad storms or rough weather

What is the water temp there, Captain? Rockport, Texas was 74 yesterday, 11/6/2022 and our Sheepshead are not schooled up like that yet!
We are anywhere between 68-71 degrees right now. This cold front we have coming through should help a ton
