Pat's analogies in this clip were SO FUCKING GOOD! Like, seriously, he had three home-runs with the "Dinner Party," "The Cheater," and "The Baby Killer."
The Condemned Olympics is an amazing idea. I remember a standup comic saying we should have open drug use Olympics, but the real energizing drug is the promise of their freedom.
Recently Battleye kicked into Rainbow Six Siege, and officially started banning people, and displays their name and that they were removed by battleye TO EVERY PERSON PLAYING THE GAME
What do you mean child endangerment?! I was doing the drugs that I PAID FOR, and I'm not allowed to do them;near MY kids??? This is my wife's fault, she shouldn't have left with the kids in the first place. I only slept with 7 WOMEN, I SHOULD'VE GOT A SLAP ON THE WRIST!!! - My father 2k14 "life's a dirty game, you've gotta play dirty to win it" - Aziz Ansari's cousin The cheater mentality is rampant. Have a great day everybody ;)
I am definitely the kind of person that truly has fun when they win. However, because I'm not enough of a scumbag to cheat, I'm just left to wallow in self-loathing.
This is the kind of thing Pat was put on this earth for, 6:56 only someone like him can truly understand the mindset of scumbag behavior, if only NCIS needed someone like that as a consultant XD
In regards to how people justify their cheating, I think a big issue is that a lot of other players have just become complacent about it, to the point where some people actually can say, "Let it happen." Case in point, I've played a number of rounds in BO3 where someone was using a Brecci that was modified to shoot about as fast as an AR, maybe a bit slower. One day, I was at the end of my rope and I reported one of these players for doing that. However, whenever I talk about these types of players with my brother, he always says, "They're modding the guns, so it isn't actually cheating." I feel like that kind of mentality is why we have so many people like those mentioned in this segment.
On the topic of cheaters feeling ripped off when they get banned, I think it stems from the same reason why no one (at least to my knowledge) use’s Xbox live’s rep system. A lot of people find it’s less of a headache to just accept cheaters as part of the game instead of actively fighting it. As a result people see cheating as a victimless crime. “The encounter rate on cheaters isn’t enough to drive people away from the game right?” they think, and most of the time they’re right.
It should perma-ban you from online and multiplayer games for life at least, so all you can play is single player games or the single player mode on games. And your steam page has a broken heart icon that you can't get rid of and it says "Welcome to the Lonely Hearts Club loser!" and plays "All By Myself" constantly.
Do people not understand what The Terms of Service are for? If you violate it you are basically signing a contract and then blatantly breach said contract, forfeiting all right to said product.
I came back here after seeing all the salt from Destiny 2 Cheater Forums because Bungie sent a notice for the site to shut down the cheat. Nothing has changed, the same cheaters are salty and it's incredible.
I'll admit, i have a cheat character in Dark Souls 2, just assloads of souls, and whenever i play that character i disconnect from the internet just in case. I know its shitty but i just got really bored with DS2 and that was the only way to make it fun again. Then DS3 came out and i haven't even touched DS2 since.
I CHEATED in dead by daylight, downloaded a save file that had 99 million XP to spend. i got level 50 everyone within like the first day, it was great. then they fixed it, but i still have all my shit :^)
i hate cheating as much as the next guy, i absolutely despise it and think that everything they are talking about here is justified. but on the other hand its only overwatch so i dont care as much since that game is awful. if it were a game i cared about then i would be 100% behind them, but im only like 90% because its only overwatch.
Because that’s how a child acts. Because in game like Overwatch, you’re screwing over your teammates, and in a game like SFV you’re robbing a person of a win.
I think i should be clear as crystal, i dont play 1v1 foghting games either, and if i do, i take the L thats how the game goes. However, im speaking of games like GTA or RDR2, metal gear, single or multiplayer games, like those that have griefing or the games that are unforgiving in gameplay like outlast cuphead and darksouls. Im simply saying that rage quitting isnt that bad but the stigma attached is unfair.

That is art right there.
No, it's shezzenfrood. Jeez.
Isn't it steppenfraud?
02:26 "I only cheated because I was stoned as fuck!"
02:38 "I'll take my cheating elsewhere. Thank you, sir!"
I like how Woolie pronounces Schadenfreude as "shazzenfrowd", but just goes for it instead of doubting himself.
Eskil like how he says "geero" instead of "gyro"
Stupid little boy Woolie who is a little boy and a liar.
All these years later and I still crack myself up when I remember "DA BIG CHEAT."
Pat's analogies in this clip were SO FUCKING GOOD! Like, seriously, he had three home-runs with the "Dinner Party," "The Cheater," and "The Baby Killer."
The Dark Olympics sounds like the sickest thing.
ZeeOwlMan It does! Like, musical chairs where the person left standing gets shot.
BloodRed Rover
*THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED IT THE TARTARUS GAMES!*
The Dark Olympics is played with death row inmates where ANYTHING goes
Hey haha guess what
"We got footage of your Play of the Game going to DA BIG CHEAT. "

Pat's analogy at 2:53 is perfect.
but-but i bought a ticket, tho
I WOULD NEVER.

xDangerouslyAwkwardx yup. And the first 48 references as well. Come on Plague, get on it!
I guess when Pat was putting forth his deranged rootkit suggestion, someone at Capcom was listening.
2:54 - 3:05 "if you stab a guest and shit on the floor, you WILL be asked to leave." Holy christ, my sides! I can't handle it!

I _loved_ the way they read that one.
I run a Five Guys and lose my shit every time they bring it up.
have you ever had to ban unruly customers and they act like entitled shits? xD

Right into the shame car!
I had to stop my car at the hamburger part.
I've literally almost crashed my car multiple times listening to the podcast while driving 'cause I'm losing it so hard
I held it together until the part about a cult of cheaters that worship the Banned God
27TheMunchkin I think you should stop doing that, I don't think they would be happy knowing they caused someone's death
I think it's the level of genuine outrage in Liam's voice when he says "What do you mean I can't come back to Five Guys?!" that does it for me
For me it's the shouting of "YEAH I KILLED IT!" in an outraged tone.

The courage to cheat at the video game.
dsalucas hey I understood that reference
“Openly being a coward is one of the most brave things a human being could do”
the best are the ones that are like "That's my brother's account!!"
Back here after Blizzard announced the cancellation of the PvE stuff they announced for Overwatch 2. Yeah, this game is a big shitshow.
9:30, that's fucking Yoshikage Kira. like seriously, put a fucking watch on that guy.

There's one quote from Pat I really love from their NBA 2k16 Spike Lee Joint that fits well. "Being wrong feels bad, so why would I do it?"
Every time they mention "The First 48," I lose my shit.

"I'll take my cheating elsewhere! Thank you sir." One of my favorite Matt quotes ever

"Overwatch is now the fastest-selling game of all time"

This conversation and the one about time travel ethics are my favorite so far. I love this podcast.
Making a Cheaterer
i effing lost it at the dark olympics
Do people not understand what The Terms of Service are for? If you violate it you are basically signing a contract and then blatantly breach said contract, forfeiting all right to said product.
Jayson Pritchard i mean, to be fair, i think that requires most people actually read the ToS
I'm using that "Dark Olympics" idea for a Screenplay, except instead of banned Olympians, it's gonna be salty hackers.
Is the full podcasts not on RUclips? Tryed finding them after Finishing up with the Playlist and I couldn't find them
That 5 guys analogy is the funniest co operative analogy I've ever heard
Cheaters complaining about them obviously doing wrong remind me of Kira however Kira Yoshikage isn't a shit

"These Olympics are a shitshow!" You're gonna have to be more specific Pat
The title of the podcast should be “ raekwon plays Mcree”
Wait Blizzard actually got cheaters?
*Notices it's 2016*
Oh that explains it
the "dark olympics" already exists in games.
its called Dota 2's "the trench"
nikko validor titanfall has it too
Anybody else listening to this in 2020 with the TF2 bot crisis?
“I paid to live a lie”

No! I've failed the Greycheats' prophet, Cheatus Christ!
Also Liam is on point with the analogy at 10:14

If it is against the rules of the game then you should be banned.....that's how it works.

"Schadenfreude" is the German term for gaining joy from witnessing someone else's misfortune, usually because you believe it was well deserved.
xXVolteon50Xx I know what that means, but that is NOT what he said.

to be fair, what you may call cheating, i call "balancing the game better than Blizzard"
Why should I get hate for leaving a game that is pissing me off? Just silly
Because that’s how a child acts. Because in game like Overwatch, you’re screwing over your teammates, and in a game like SFV you’re robbing a person of a win.
