If I'm interpreting the lyrics right, it seems to be about power-fantasy guys who join the police force thinking it's going to be like some badass action movie, only to discover that it's a dreary bureaucratic slog.

@@lovecrime_ I don't see that in the lyrics at all. It could be about a gangster or something, but I don't see it relating to police.
@@Firefox1189 i would urge you to read the lyrics again, because the intro is spoken by and very much relates to cops ("the uniform isn't a shield anymore, it's a target"), and everything after the first chorus is making fun of how cops think that they are doing this glorious job while they are mostly doing boring paperwork and locking criminals with minor offences in the cycle of violence.
