    Actually, I found something interesting while messing with latin dictionary. I know I am late and like nobody will see this BUT I thought it will be fun to write here what I extracted from the circle of Ultimate form. Like Bio-Roxas said it seems like the meaning what is written on the magic circle is SITSARETATERASTIS. In the latin dictionary there are some words really interesting like instead of ASTIS could it be ACIES which means BATTLE ARRAY/BATTLE LINE/SHARP EDGE. TER also means three times but I dont thik it makes any sense. But here is the cool one ARETA looks like a contraction to ARETALOGI/ARETALOGUS which means TELLER OF FAIRY-TALES or STORIES OF THE GODS so anyone guess what this means teller of fairy tales? age of fairy tales? SITS could it be CIS which translate to BEFORE/WITHIN could also be SIC which means AS FOLLOWS/THUS or could also be SITIS which means THIRST. So for the cool meaning that I saw it was WITHIN STORIES OF THE GODS BATTLE ARRAY.
    Well that was all, this is MY opinion if you dont agree it is okay. I replaced some words like ASTIS for ACIES cause it is
    homophone but it really could be anything.
    Sorry for the english it is not my main language.
    EDIT Here are the sites that I took the words www.online-latin-dictionary.com and latin-dictionary.net

    I don't know if everyone noticed this, but every variant of Ultima Weapon in the main console games have the same number of blades.
    KH1 was just a stylish longsword with gold streaks. A simple design.
    KH2's design has two separate blades that look like the rounded shape that Bio-Roxas showed in the video, and the 2nd unique part is the teeth of the keyblade. It has a heart like normal, but there's a segment of the nobody sign. Also, it was symmetrical in blade and streak design.
    For KH3's Ultima, there's a third middle blade, then two shorter blades adjacent to it. It also has the most "loose" design since it can shapeshift and like BBS, can transform freely. Still contains the streaks, but they're symmetrical on the opposite side of the blades. (I'm failing on that explanation of the streaks on the blades.)
    Also the keychains, since I'm already typing.
    KH1: It's a Heart, with just some gold veining, like it's slowly gaining experience with the new world, and affecting Sora the same way during his first journey around the worlds.
    KH2's keychain is a crown on top of the same heart, with the gold veining climbing higher on the heart. Showing Sora's growth within the year he slept and the day-to-week he destroyed the Organization.
    Lastly KH3, where it looks like a fiery Heartbinder, like the summon heartbinders, kinda coming full circle with his mentality with, "My friends are my power," but finally finishing Ventus's words, "and I'm theirs." Being his friend's strength as they are for Sora.
    Now that was lecture worthy. Heh.

    i really liked this breakdown! but i'm not really sure the "aterastis" part is right. i've studied ancient greek + latin and that word doesn't exist in ancient greek: i don't think it's a verb/phrase either since the word "at" itself doesn't exist, "erastis" could mean "lover" but the spelling is wrong because the correct word is "erastes".
    but in latin "at erastis" translates to "but with the lovers/ but to the lovers" or something like that (at= but, erastis = lovers), i'm not sure about the preposition since a 100% correct translation would require context + a full sentence.
    so maybe it has something to do with lovers? idk i hope ive been helpful in some way ;;

    Also, for the words
    A. "There are no accidents"
    And B. ... THIS IS KINGDOM HEARTS. Of course these words have an alternative meaning, and OF COURSE they're intentional.

    I'm kinda late to this, but i think the different meaning between Aterastis/aterastis, changing from 'undead' to 'beloved' could speak to the hearts inside of Sora, and the Power of Waking? Xion, Roxas, Naminé - all of these characters could easily be described as undead, or in a state of half-life, while they're sort of in limbo in Sora's heart, but it's through being held dear to someone's heart, being beloved, that they're returned to existence.

  • @mutanttepig4759
    @mutanttepig4759 3 года назад

    It makes sense that the spell circle would have those translations. For 'look at her' it could mean that Sora is going into the form by drawing power from the end of his current body's existence i.e. the moment when he disappears because it is 'ultimate form' meaning Sora at his strongest. Undead is just a summoning phrase from what I can tell but it can lean into the final state thing that I was talking about previously and the fact that everyone is trying to bring Sora back to life. 'Beloved' is sort of confusing for me because it doesn't really mean anything. Maybe Sora is using that word as a power source(drawing from what he is to others) to go into ultimate form? That's my best theory for that word.

    • @mutanttepig4759
      @mutanttepig4759 20 часов назад

      I am coming back to this comment now that I am older and with even more theories about it. I don't really have different ideas about the "look at her" interpretation and I still stand by that 'final state' theory. The "Undead" interpretation is interesting to me because it can be taken multiple ways and in several interesting directions. It can simply be taken as an incantation to draw upon the power of those who came before, but I feel like that's a little boring to me. My main interest in it however is what it represents pertaining to Sora and his friends/allies. Sora can be considered as being effectively undead in a certain way as he previously was a heartless which in a way is a form of death if you think about it and after the events of this game people are trying to effectively revive Sora making him undead. A few of Sora's friends are able to be considered undead too(even if it's by the same vague logic as it was with Sora); Goofy had that section in KH2 where he was hit by that boulder so hard that the others legitimately thought he died, Riku was briefly possessed by Ansem: SoD, Kairi was literally heartless for essentially the entirety of KH1's main story and so was Ven from BBS's ending to just before unlocking the Keyblade Graveyard, Terra was split into 3 pieces, Roxas Lea Xion and Namané were all briefly gone as nobodies, and finally essentially everyone briefly died at the start of the Keyblade Graveyard before Sora had to use the power of waking to revive everyone. The "Beloved" interpretation is not just what everyone else thought of Sora as I thought, but it can also be where Sora's strongest power comes from as he truly fights for his friends and especially for Kairi who is very likely what Beloved is referring to here considering the events of the Re:Mind dlc.
      As for one last thing before I actually post this... I'm curious if there's any other interpretations that can be drawn from the Scala text on the spell circle(as the mirrored part of the text can potentially have meaning too) and if there is I'm wondering what their potential connections to various parts of KH are...

    I love how the magic circles are, and let me give some meaning to the crowned heart.
    The Crown Emblem is Sora's symbol, a representation of being king. The Heart is of course, the game, the Heart(in all, hearts in itself, the seven pure hearts, etc.), and Kingdom Hearts itself. If I put both meanings together, I can say it means mastery. Sora has now mastered light(Limits of 1, Drives of 2 and Formchanges of 3) and dark(his evolution of his troublesome AntiForm to a more reliable Rage Form, where he transits from being corroded by darkness to using his anger, a fuel of darkness, to become fuel for him to withstand everything for everyone) and now he has been bequeathed the X-Blade by Xehanort, the penultimate Keyblade of all. With this, he really has become king(He is this king piece in the chess set Teenage Xehanort and Eraqus were playing on), and really deserves to be called a Master.(Pft, Final and Ultimate...)

    • @Wayfinder137
      @Wayfinder137 4 года назад +2

      Kenneth it definitely would be for sure. But Ultima is at least as strong if not stronger than ultima. So if ultima succeeded, xehanort would be vaporized on the spot and the entire keyblade graveyard(at least the entire area that everyone was fighting the seekers) and everyone currently on it would be gone. But that’s assuming that Mickey can’t control how far ultima goes and he is most likely able to. Mickey would be perfectly fine since he casually casted it without being tired after casting it. So um, that makes both Donald and Mickey extremely strong mages with very strong burst magic damage. Difference between them is that Mickey has better dps due to being trained with a keyblade and better close combat skills

    • @hollowersatz8762

      @@Kenneth-mj1hk Zettaflare is not the most powerful spell as far as I know. In FF8, one of the characters have a limit named The End, that will instantly kill any target, including bosses and superbosses. It relies on luck to actually work though.
      Also, Ultima kicks a lot of ass in some games, FFXIV for example has a very nice Ultima cutscene that destroys a very large area. I'll see if I can find it
      Edit: found the ultima cutscene. ruclips.net/video/VfguhAV5qzk/видео.html jump to 4:00

      Ατ ερασ της
      This is the actual text and I've had other Greek speakers confirm it actually. If it's wrong though then I apologize for the misinformation!
