Jeff Monaco i always try to play like that but i cant because i am used to put my finger on one of the strings
When I started playing the bass, I put my thumb on the pickups or strings but I obliged myself to stop from putting it down and now I play without the thumb, practice and you will succeed !!

OK Jeff, I have to ask. I have seen a few of your videos with the Blue Sparkle and now this one. Like Diego Vargas asked and I read your answer, is this white one you say " Luthier made" Does that mean it is custom made just for you? How do you compare it to the Blue one? The Blue one is the Fender Japan made SH SIG one right?
My luthier have fabricated the West Ham bass before she was on sale officially ! This is why she has been made for me!

But my baby is the blue one like yours, the Japan made SH. I bet your Luthier West Ham bass is great too. Your playing is Top Notch very very good. I am a beginner but sure love Maiden and Steve Harris is in my top favorite bass players alongside, John Entwistle, Lemmy, Geezer Butler, Jack Bruce, Robert DeLeo, Flea, Geddy Lee, and Chris Squier
