    Most of the cons I’ve seen in this reviews are inherent to first world country problems 🤷🏻. For example the weight of the device, in my country elementary, school kiddos carry double, triple the weight of that laptop in their backpack everyday walking long distances, so it is really not problem where I come from, and so with the logo and the track pad, turn of logo if you don’t like and disable track pad if you feel it uncomfortable at some point and use a mouse, problems solved. As a portable device battery life is far more important if you are going to be unplugged for long periods of time, if you need to work with full power software , that’s why M1-M2 MacBooks 💻 exists for. Let’s not forget gaming laptops are often purchased as desktop replacements so keep in mind these devices are always going to be hotter, heavier and bigger than most of the average products out there.

      Well said, I have purchased my legion 5 (non pro - same performance as pro) with these same specs and upgraded screen albeit on a 15" frame. I have no problem moving this laptop from point A to point B daily. As a matter of fact I live in Africa and people here still use old school "brick-heavy-laptops". They look at mine and are in awe of how "beautiful" it looks because of the think bezels. In the west they would say the bezels are thick on my legion. My games run like a boss, I study on it like a boss, I take it to the coffee shop like a boss with 6-8 hour battery life. Need I mention gaming like a boss? Sure it isn't a desktop but it sure as hell gives me a satisfying experience as a desktop replacement.
      In today's world the technology we use is very useful and very practical compared to the past. So much so that we have choices on aesthetics over form. The legion series is very similar to the 1060 7700h 13" laptop from Alienware in terms of design. Look at that laptop and compare it to the legion series today. Then compare it to other laptops on the market today. They even weigh the same! Back then it was, "look at all that power in this 13 inch form factor at around 2kilos"! Today? "oh, it is heavy and may be of concern lugging it around."
      Be a man bruh! - Don't let marketing and pressure from other reviewers make you out to sound like bitch-made.
      Great review though, are you from notebookcheck?

    • @Hubwood

      There's nothing you should or could do really. You could overclock it you're okay with the extra heat and the risk of faster degrading.
      You could undervolt + overclock.
      You could use a laptop cooler.

    I just have two questions:
    1. How portable is it. I am a college student who travels frequently(hostel to college to library almost every day) so from that perspective is it too heavy or too big to carry on bag. Also is it loud (I use my laptop for taking notes and programming in college) so is typing too loud or maybe it's fan noise.
    2. Can it run for 6-7 hours in single charge. I don't want to carry that big charger and in college my usage is very low as I only use it to browse internet or take notes so considering that will it last for 6-7 hours on full charge.

      Keys aren't noisy imo, but with the portability in question, I don't think you'd be bringing it out that much either way.

      @alexlalex5223 2 года назад

      actually you can, as an owner of the exactly the same laptop, I can tell that the biggest difference that you see comes not in a game but in work\surfing kind of stuff - texts generally look much sharper and when I let`s say switch to FHD it all starts to look painful for my eyes, it`s hard to explain but if you take a look at iphone with retina and non-retina, tho the pixel density on both is great and they look good, the difference is also clearly visible. It`s the same in here.

    • @Hubwood
      @Hubwood  2 года назад +4

      @@alexlalex5223 The problem is, that if you lower the resolution on a modern LED screen it will ALWAYS look more blurry.
      What I was saying, that a 16 Inch Full HD DISPLAY doesnt look much worse than a WQHD DISPLAY. (Not changing the resolution! I'm talking native resolution.)
      But on smaller screens, when gaming and lowering the resolution, it doesnt matter THAT much actually. The smaller the screen, the less it matters.
