Slash still loves playing his guitar so much. Five years into this reunion and having seen them live three times since then, it is still so surreal to see him embracing the Chinese Democracy songs. A decade ago this entire notion of a reunion would have seemed far-fetched, but especially the old guys playing the songs Axl wrote after they left. It's awesome.

What I find pretty clear is that he must try not to run too much to sound more or less well. This is an example, he sounds much better when he is sat on the throne.
He was also in great shape at the start of the tour. He lost a lot of weight and seemed to be taking better care of himself. His vocals were fantastic during the first leg of the tour.

The problem with Chinese is the name of Guns N Roses on it. If it was released as a solo album by Axl, it would be more accepted. But this doesn't change the fact is an amazing work

Slash still loves playing his guitar so much. Five years into this reunion and having seen them live three times since then, it is still so surreal to see him embracing the Chinese Democracy songs. A decade ago this entire notion of a reunion would have seemed far-fetched, but especially the old guys playing the songs Axl wrote after they left. It's awesome.

One of my favorites. Amazing how Axle can almost hit the notes with accuracy and intensity as when he first recorded it.
Great song. DJ Ashba handled the solo better, however. I wish we could hear Robin's solo live on this song.

What I find pretty clear is that he must try not to run too much to sound more or less well. This is an example, he sounds much better when he is sat on the throne.
He was also in great shape at the start of the tour. He lost a lot of weight and seemed to be taking better care of himself. His vocals were fantastic during the first leg of the tour.

It was written by Axl. Also, apparently it was written around 1991 and there were demos recorded, but Axl decided to destroy rgwm and didn't release it until the Chinese Democracy era.

What Slash did to this song should be considered a crime. He should have more respect for the original composers of the song and learn it the right way, the way it was meant to be played, like the other musicians did with his own songs, when they were replacing him.

proof that Axl is still legendary. he might have gotten off-key a few times, but he still has that voice he got praised for
Wow Slash´s solo... the way he´s playing it.... gives a real guns n roses dimensions, a signature, to that beautiful song. We missed him so much. I don´t want to disrespect DJ Ashba who is a good guitarist by the way, but he remains uncomparable toward the great and magnificent Slash.

Cuando esta sentado la voz se le escucha mejor, ya no puede estar bailando y corriendo en el escenario, se le va el aire y le cuesta trabajo cantar. En este concierto (y en todos los que fueron después del accidente) se le escucha muy bien.
