This slow blues demo from nearly 10 yrs ago is why Ronnie Shellist is one of our Premier online instructors today! Heart and Soul playing from one of the best! I am grateful to have you Ronnie helping guide us "harp" pilgrims! :)
I just came across this video. Ronnie, I am an aspiring harmonica player and I love how you teach patience and control. So many people want to give it all they got right out of the gate and then have nothing to give for the climax of the Blues. I am blessed from your knowledge. Kelly
Ronnie that was an excellent video. I have over the past year started to be able to play really fast and hard on the harmonica and this video slapped me in the face with a little reality. Just cause you can play fast and hard doesn't mean you should. Thanks for wake up.
nice one Ronnie-I agree with your comments about 'taking your time' and holding back a bit. Too many people think speed is everything but its about feel.
Very cool and congratulations to your 100th Video. Please make much much more of your Videos, they help me much for practicing and they are beautiful to listen to. Many greetings from Germany, icibizzi
I know you had a video that explained where to get a copy of the poster you have in the background of this video. The smoking harmonica in the rocks glass and I think there was another. Can't find it for the life of me. Will you provide the info or video link again?
harptunerATgmail is his email...(youtube will nto let me enter a normal email in this comment section. By the way, I believe the official name will be "Buster Harps"

Awesome blues, got me cryin.
@tw1sta Most folks think of it as counting 4 up from the key of the music G,A,B,C(harp choice) for cross harmonica/2nd position.

Search for artists instead of just "harmonica blues". A few classics are James Cotton, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, Paul Butterfield, etc
!!!
@RonnieShellist You got too feel it ! it is not a gitar bro... i play both. good luck !
The most annpying thing is when you type in harmonica blues and every single video is how to videos...
