Excellent! I can't put my guitar down either. It is so beautiful and easy. Easy to remember too. And I love the way you use the traditional notation without bothering about writing syncopation into it. Thank yo so much!!
Simply wonderful! I only discovered your work yesterday and as soon as I heard this piece I knew I had to shelve everything else on my list and learn it. That's going to take quite a while though... not just because I have stubborn fingers, but because the intro is /so/ satisfying to play. I've been messing about with it all day when I've had chance. Even better, my mother -- who has dementia, sadly -- has been tapping her foot while I practice. That vote of approval is worth its weight in gold. Thanks, Marco.
Could you please guide me? I live in Mumbai India, right by the ocean, and need a good acoustic guitar which a) will stand humidity and not warp ....b) have a good deep sound for the bass notes and melodic sound for the higher notes. Which make would you recommend?
You probably didn't mean to reply to me, because I'm an expert in approximately nothing whatsoever. I can barely tune my guitar in England's gentle climate! ;-) But I suspect that guitars are the same everywhere... what they hate is change, or at least too much change. So as long as the local climate is fairly consistent I imagine any guitar will settle down eventually. You'd probably be better off trying to get local advice though. I'm guessing that whatever sells well in local music shops will be a good guide. They can't afford to stock products which people come back often to complain about. Good luck finding your guitar.
I do like your style of teaching when you show the notes musical notation not tabviure with strings and numbers I know how to read it but I think it’s just a lazy way of playing at guitar I like a real challenge I like to read music I’ve been reading music since 1980 I noticed in some of your lessons you don’t put notation that kind of back to me off so I’m only picking the songs you do that have notation in them not tab but no Tatian I can read both but I prefer to read notation thanks again have a great day
Hey Marco, is there a better, patient, guitar tutor than you? You are indeed blessed with the savvy to play beautiful guitar music, want to someday learn to play like you..... Marco I got a question for you., which is the best method for finger picking any song without using chords? I've seen many guitarists picking songs with very minute amount of chords.
Favoloso, ma come fai a presentare tutto così chiaramente. Bravo. Non manca niente, descrizione, tab, accordi. Ho avuto voglia di riprendere la chitarra. Continua con questo stile, sei il primo.
Got it down! From start to finish. Not all in one day but learned one part, practice and then add the next part. Thanks so much for the lesson. Question, is this your own doing and arrangement? If so, very nice, great job. And there is more. :)
That pentatonic lick on measure 18, is that played using triplets? The notation shows 1/8 notes, but when I hear it played full speed I hear triplets. Am I imagining? 🤔
Wow, Marco, you are one of the most original guitar creators who teach on Patreon! Your compositions are so unique and outstanding. I am trying to learn from you but I am rhythm-challenged! Could you possibly give us a lesson just on that thumb-slapping use of rests, pauses, speed-ups, etc.-- even dipping into music theory if necessary? I'm just learning to count time!
As a musician, I entered the alternative reality of guitars over forty years ago and even now, I'm sorry but I still get slightly wound up by the odd use of musical terminology that guitarists occasionally use. This may well be an invaluable teaching video but please stop perpetuating musical terminology that doesn't exist. One day, a student may play with real musicians and embarrass themselves. There is no such key as Em. The musical score on the screen is in G. It is in G. If you wished to be pedantic then it is in the relative minor key of G. A minor key merely means the root chord is the minor sixth. In G, that's Em.
marco you are really best guitar teacher in the world
My low E string said thanks today for considering it !
SUPER! Thank you sooo much. Please carry on with these instructions. 👏
Pay no attention to the negative they just jealous. Your awesome.
Very nice. Easy to follow and explained perfectly. Thank you.
Love your music Marco. One thing that would make it easier to learn from is if you use a guitar with fret markers on it. Just sayin.
Yeah,i agree

Loving these pieces with tabs, keep sharing, big thanks.

So happy to hear that Andrew. Music is powerful and we are all blessed to be able to share it with the world.
Andrew, I wish the best to you and your mother. Unfortunately, I know what's it like to live with dementia in the family.
