Just wanted to point out, Kiana's sword had four gems at the end there. Yellow for void, blue for reason, magenta for sentience, and at the top, teardrop-shaped, was the fire core.

After Himiko gave her Lesson, after living with all that happend. Kiana finally stopped going solo, finally accepts her bonds go both ways, finally is in balance with her Herrscher-side. Final Lesson learned. Kiana has grown up.

AFAIK it's a word play and we are supposed to take it as both flame-branch/torch and Heir of Flame. Kiana inherited Himeko's will and position as Herrscher of Flame, and at the same time the developer interview talked at length that the metaphor here is a torch relay: Kiana was saved and influenced by Himeko, and in time she will influence other people, who will in turn have their own adventure and influence the world. It is, to quote the developer "a very significant relay, everyone participating will become part of the torchlight, a weak but absolutely vital 'flamescion'".
The reason for Kiana's new, calm music is because she's finally at peace with herself. She has acknowledged that she's merely a clone of the real Kiana and the half of Sirin's soul that wanted a loving family, and she conquered Sirin's rage, better known as the Herrscher of the Void. She's also accepted that Himeko is gone, but that the woman is proud of her.
It was a quantum realm. The Theater of Domination could only exist as long as the Herrscher of Domination existed so once Kiana destroyed it the realm disappeared and the ruins of the Theater fell to Earth.

A misconception about the Herrschers Cores and Gems. Cores are naturally formed crystals forged within their most optimal hosts corrupted by Honkai Energy. They are leagues more powerful than Gems. Gems are fragments of Cores or have been poorly formed within hosts that don't quite meet the requirements to create a fully actualized Herrscher. Naturally, Gems don't possess the full capabilities of a Core. There! Have some Lore for you!
@Einzy-chan Yes, in the comics all four are called Gems, not Cores, and it states they don't possess the full capabilities of their Core counterparts. Otherwise, Otto would have been able to resurrect Kallen with the Gem of Serenity, however. That Core and Gem usually comes in a pair. One to govern Death, and the other, Life. Sirin only got the Gem of Death, which when you think about it, is less that 1/4th of the true power of a fully equipped Herrscher of Life/Death, and she only got a piece of "Death". The Herrscher of the End gave the Gems to Sirin when she released the 30% of The End's power that Dr. MEI managed to seal away on the Moon during the final battle in the previous era.
nope they are cores. schicksal only named those cores as gems, since it was all a part of sirin(who gained more cores when "god" gave it to her) the reason why otto wasn't able to resurrect kallen with the death core is, even if you resurrect the physical body, that doesn't return the soul of the dead(refer to 2nd honkai war manga) the incomplete herrschers during the manga was artificially made herrschers that sirin made by copying the cores within her(pseudo cores, she did the same to bella) and creating false herrschers using bodies of her dead friends as vessels. in case you forgot, sirin was able to manipulate life in the manga by ressurecting her mom, but ended up being a soul less vessel, then otto realized, even if he gains the death's core, it's pointless, since it can never resurrect a soul.

Even as to go so far as to explain this through dialog about the Herrscher of Reason and the difference between Bronya, Welt, and Joyce. I've already mentioned if you re-read my previous comment, that Sirin only had the Fragment of the power of Death, which governs over the ability to manipulate what is conceptually perceived as "Dead." However, in previous games of Mihoyo and through very cleaver lines in the story in Honkai 3rd, the Herrscher of Death possesses Two cores. One - Death - that manipulates over the body, and the other - Life - that governs over the soul. This can be observed in the story in regards to Seele, and her counterpart. Light Seele, who is Life, and Dark Seele, who not only is Death, but originally was a piece of the Herrscher of Death from the previous era before her genetic data getting turning into a STIGMATA. It's very well hidden, but in some of the details about the previous era, Mihoyo implied that the Herrscher of Death was able to do True Resurrection (Life), and brainwash them to work for her(Death via body manipulation). Can you imagine how demoralizing it must have been for MOTH to be forced to kill their comrades again? Or even worse, watch entire cities being brought back to life only for the entire population to turn on humanity. Another reason why I believe True Resurrection is possible, and that The Herrscher of the End, (The Goddess, it talks about her and where that fragment of her power came from in the Divine Key Comic), and The Herrscher of Death is capable of it is due to the Theme of Samsara (Translates to Rebirth/Reincarnation), and History repeating itself is so prevalent in the story writing of Honkai Impact. The Herrschers ability to understand and manipulate higher dimensional planes is key here, as the soul is usually conceptualized as being metaphysical, or on a higher plane of existence bound to a mortal body on a lower plane to interact with the physical universe. The Herrscher of Death with the Life Core must grant the individual the ability to interact with the specific plane where the "Soul" resides. This is somewhat proven in the Comic. Alien Space, as the Sugars are nothing more than purely metaphysical entities and were able to pull Welt and Ryunsuke into their pocket dimension, with Ryunsuke also getting the ability to trap them later on as well. The Herrscher of the Void is especially skilled in manipulating alternate planes of reality. Is it possible for Void to resurrect the dead? Possibly, but at a much higher difficulty compared to Death. I don't think Sirin was able to use her Void powers to do so, however. She didn't possess the knowledge or skill to manipulate such planes of existence due to both The End not giving her the knowledge as she knew that, if given the chance, Sirin would have stopped trying to kill humans to be with her mother again; and not knowing how from her own knowledge which she only had less than three weeks to learn about her abilities. And again, she only had a fragment of the Herrscher of Death, and only the Core of Death, and not of Life.
It's all so beatiful, Kiana finally took Final Lesson and uses her second chance at life to the utmost of her ability to inspire and help people she loves and the world. She's become a genuine heroine someone can look up to, she went through hell and came back stronger and gives off aura of hope.

All of this is the reward for those who have been on this journey with these characters. This is pure catharsis and awe for how far miHoYo have come over their seven years of making amazing memories. Kiana stands as Honkai team’s culminated triumph, and I honestly adore how far she has come and the song that stands as everyone’s war cry for her victory. I’ll forever follow the path that Honkai team takes and I sincerely thank miHoYo for everything that they have given us.

Yeah Bronya is one of my favorite characters. So when she intervenes and gives her core to Kiana. That gets me every single time I watch this. And I watch it often.
The thing you miss is the Core of Flame appearing in 8:21 in the sword completing her transformation as Herrscher of Flamescion making Kiana possess 4 all Herrscher Cores in the Sword. Technically Kiana only have 2 Herrscher Core in her possession and 1 Gem which is Gem of Serenity. Gem of Serenity isn't a Herrscher Core yet since it lack a suitable host to have Herrscher Personality to become a fully Herrscher Core. My guess in 6:25 on why Bronya is glowing is because trying heal herself using Herrscher of Reason power like Welt did when he fully recreated his body using the Herrscher of Reason power. As for the Herrscher of Hope you mention. If APHO is the canon future, it means that she is indeed became a hope for humanity.
As the Stigmata suggests, Seele is the Host for the Gem of Serenity. The Gem of Serenity is meant for the Herrscher of Death, which is obviously Seele judging by her natural-occuring stigmata, yet during the second Impact, the God of Honkai gave four Herrshcer cores, representing HoT,HoW,HoF, and HoD. The Gem of Desire was later used to power up Wotan, the gem of Disease was used to power up the Key of Blank which was Himeko's battlesuit during the Final Lesson, and now it is given back to Kiana. The Gem of Conquer dissappated as Mei became the true Herrscher of Thunder once more, the Gem of Serenity, on the other hand, is out of Kiana's control. Kiana doesn't know how to use it, neither did HoV, who only knew how to kill someone with it. The only one who has dealt with this particular Herrscher is Kevin, who executed a Seele-like girl in the last era.

Seele isn't a host yet but she is a perfect candidate along side Theresa to become a Herrscher themselves since they have the Honkai adaptability. God of Honkai didn't gave four Herrscher core to Sirin instead it gave Gem's. Gem of Desire, Gem of Conquest, Gem of Serenity, and lastly Gem of Haste as extra power and battery to her. Gem's are essentially weaker than Herrscher Core and it doesn't have any Herrscher personality but with the right host and enough Honkai Energy. The Gem's can evolved to become Herrscher Core just like Mei did to the Gem of "Conquest". When the Gem of Conquest came back to her body, Mei Herrscher Personality is also back and when she ascend her rightful place as the Herrscher of Thunder the Gem of Conquest evolved to became a Herrscher Core. Hench becoming more powerful than when she first cause Honkai Eruption. HoV knew how to use the Gem of Serenity. She was given knowledge by the Honkai when it gave the gems to her. That's why HoV is trying to kill Kiana so that she can resurrect herself using Gem of Serenity on Kiana's dead body. Also Kevin couldn't dealt the Herrscher of Death in the Previous Era. She offered herself to be killed by Kevin. Kevin didn't fought her to death since he didn't have any powers yet. Some sources that Herrscher of Death doesn't want to kill anymore and she is hard kill because of her powers. This is just a rumor but I think it can be true since at that time there isn't anyone in the PE MANTIS yet since Kevin isn't a MANTIS himself.
I also loved all the parallels between this and Final Lesson. I feel that it really emphasizes how far Kiana has come as a character. The concerning part about this is that it kind of makes it feel like Kiana is going down a bit of the same path as Himeko.
Well, Himeko didn't save Kiana just because she was a precious student. She saved her because she believed Kiana could save the world. Kiana taking on Himeko's legacy means she's putting the weight of the world on her shoulder. Of course, another of Himeko's lessons was that Kiana didn't have do it all alone. Which is why in the animation all her friends are helping her. As long as Kiana doesn't forget everyone has her back, she will be fine.
Lol Kiana got that *”Infinity Sword”* with those Herrscher Cores/Gems on it 😂 This broke everyone even me...... I didn’t even cry cause of the story....I cried cause of the Godly animation and wonderful music. The animation so Godly...you can see why we are trying to get an Anime adaption of the Manga, more specifically the “Second Eruption” Manga. In my opinion....Mihoyo is the greatest in the world for animation, they are *”Herrschers of Animation* Mihoyo to me as a whole though...is like the *“Herrscher of the End”* in absolute greatness compared to anyone else. I did this part of the quest today, u really should play it, it almost made me cry, so u will completely lose to it, its so well told! I also got The hersscher of Flamescion a few weeks ago and today i finally got the last part of her gear, so now i'm in complete bliss, couse she's so much fun to play while also having this awesome vibe around her. i hope to see more of your content, so keep up the good work!
Herrscher of Flamescion hit me more than anything else. I've been playing Mihoyo games since Gun Girls Z and when Honkai Impact 3rd came out, it wasn't exactly the best. It is a great game with beautiful animations but at the time, I wasn't really expecting super great things from it. Gun Girls Z was released during time mobile games were starting up and released by a Chinese company, one would expect it to be quite a joke of a game, which for all intents and purposes, probably was: the setting was highschool girls killing zombies. I didn't start HI 3rd until they released the JP version which I played a little with that. Kiana's Japanese voice actress is one of my favorite ones hence why I gave it a shot. Kiana was such a ditz of a girl trying to be number 1 and seeing her inherit the Will or Faith of her peers. Such a great ending to Act 2 as Mihoyo puts it. Now I'm very curious as to what new form Kiana will bring as Herrscher of Void is gone and Herrscher of Flamescion is probably a one-off thing considering it requires the 4 cores.

A scion is someone who inherits something, a will, an ideal. Calling the battlesuit 'Flamescion' means Kiana has inherited all of Himiko's will, and will use it to fight the Will of Honkai. Also, because of this fans call Kiana 'Herrscher of Family.' Also, Kiana has 4 cores again. The Will of Honkai also granted Sirin 4 cores in the 2nd Honkai War. Basically, although Mei took back her Gem of Conquest to become a Herrscher again, Kiana got Himiko's Gem of Haste. This confirms that after she fell into the Sea of Quanta, Himiko died, however Kiana still didn't give up.

I'm back! I just marathoned this chapter last night and never has a game made me cry so much. God this video... When I saw it the first time last night... words can't begin to describe how I felt. Sentience, Reason, Flame (Formerly Haste), Void. Orange is Void, Reason is Blue, Sentience is Magenta, and Flame is Red. You can also tell because, since Scion translates to "Descendant" or "Successor", Kiana's new Battlesuit's name literally translates to Herrscher of Flame Successor. It's basically believed that Himeko held the Core of Flame, until now, when it was passed down to Kiana and the Core of Haste changed into the Core of Flame, if memory serves. Not too versed in Honkai Lore yet.

There were actually 4 cores in her sword, the very first one, the yellow one, was the Void gem. She then got the gem of Reason>Sentience and finally Haste (fire).
I believe the purple core was mei's core and not the core of sentience. It's implied that the other herschers have fallen and she was the last and we also saw mei give her back a push with the other girls. Edit it was not mei but the gem of serenity (death) so still not the gem of sentience.
Everlasting Flames is the Triumphant Mirror of the Dark Descent of Final Lesson. Himeko's final burning away, is her spirit finally resting, because Kiana has finally become "The moon that always tells the warmth and brightness of the Sun".
Honkai Impact 3 is the only Mobile game that makes me cry like a baby every single time they release animated short film since the Final Lesson. your reaction is pure man, the way that your tear falling down when Kiana raised the sword same as Himeko when she battle with HoV. There are so many reference of Himeko in this video because Kiana is now the successor of her and she will carry on the will of fire and fight for all the beautiful things in this world. Hat off to Mihoyo for creating such a wonderful, spectacular, amazing masterpiece as always.
Also HI3 is confirmed to be going to space and we already met some alien races already. So I guess it will become a lighter 40k. Interesting there are a lot of paralell between HI3 (and GGZ) and 40k, the Honka (which exist from a seperate space call sea of Quanta) and Chao (which also exist in the separate space of warp), space marine and Valkryie which are both super soldiers, and these are created by Otto and the Big E which in GGZ they are similar in character, AE who prefer to build mech and are more “humane” like the space fish-people, and obvious the theme of Valkyrie themselves are prone to corruption like the space marine

You seems to do some 40k content as well, then you should look for Guns Girl Z content, which is made by the same company of HI3, with similar plot and characters but a lot darker. If HI3 is like Age of Sigmar (early lore) then GGZ will be like 40k. Both share the same theme of Honka and some characters like Otto and Kiana (much like both Age of Sigmar and 40k share the same concept of Warp), but GGZ is so much more ridiculously more dark, so dark that Otto almost become the only hope of humanity. They also have space battle where outer space honka beast invade earth in the GGZ previous (era zero) and the earth built fleet of space battleships and giant mechs and still cant beat i They also have the equivalent of End Time where in one era Kiana gone berserk and killed all her friends and wipe out human civilisation, only for civilisation to be restarted with the help of the stigmata supercomputer.. In HI3 the stigmata was not explain fully what it suppose to do but in GGZ it was explain andd it is darker then anything in 40k.

I want to say that the name "Herrscher of Flamescion", literally taken, would be "Herrscher of The successor flame" or "Herrscher of the flame's successor" since a scion can refer to a descendant or successor to something or someone, as well as a cut branch from a tree that can grow anew if replanted
AFAIK it's a word play and we are supposed to take it as both flame-branch/torch and Heir of Flame. Kiana inherited Himeko's will and position as Herrscher of Flame, and at the same time the developer interview talked at length that the metaphor here is a torch relay: Kiana was saved and influenced by Himeko, and in time she will influence other people, who will in turn have their own adventure and influence the world. It is, to quote the developer "a very significant relay, everyone participating will become part of the torchlight, a weak but absolutely vital 'flamescion'".

The reason for Kiana's new, calm music is because she's finally at peace with herself. She has acknowledged that she's merely a clone of the real Kiana and the half of Sirin's soul that wanted a loving family, and she conquered Sirin's rage, better known as the Herrscher of the Void. She's also accepted that Himeko is gone, but that the woman is proud of her.

It was a quantum realm. The Theater of Domination could only exist as long as the Herrscher of Domination existed so once Kiana destroyed it the realm disappeared and the ruins of the Theater fell to Earth.
To be more accurate it's an Imaginary Realm, the honkai and herrschers are connected to Imaginary Space, the Sea of Quanta is something else.

A misconception about the Herrschers Cores and Gems.
Cores are naturally formed crystals forged within their most optimal hosts corrupted by Honkai Energy. They are leagues more powerful than Gems.
Gems are fragments of Cores or have been poorly formed within hosts that don't quite meet the requirements to create a fully actualized Herrscher. Naturally, Gems don't possess the full capabilities of a Core.

@Einzy-chan Yes, in the comics all four are called Gems, not Cores, and it states they don't possess the full capabilities of their Core counterparts. Otherwise, Otto would have been able to resurrect Kallen with the Gem of Serenity, however. That Core and Gem usually comes in a pair. One to govern Death, and the other, Life. Sirin only got the Gem of Death, which when you think about it, is less that 1/4th of the true power of a fully equipped Herrscher of Life/Death, and she only got a piece of "Death".
The Herrscher of the End gave the Gems to Sirin when she released the 30% of The End's power that Dr. MEI managed to seal away on the Moon during the final battle in the previous era.

schicksal only named those cores as gems, since it was all a part of sirin(who gained more cores when "god" gave it to her) the reason why otto wasn't able to resurrect kallen with the death core is, even if you resurrect the physical body, that doesn't return the soul of the dead(refer to 2nd honkai war manga)
the incomplete herrschers during the manga was artificially made herrschers that sirin made by copying the cores within her(pseudo cores, she did the same to bella) and creating false herrschers using bodies of her dead friends as vessels.
in case you forgot, sirin was able to manipulate life in the manga by ressurecting her mom, but ended up being a soul less vessel, then otto realized, even if he gains the death's core, it's pointless, since it can never resurrect a soul.

I've already mentioned if you re-read my previous comment, that Sirin only had the Fragment of the power of Death, which governs over the ability to manipulate what is conceptually perceived as "Dead." However, in previous games of Mihoyo and through very cleaver lines in the story in Honkai 3rd, the Herrscher of Death possesses Two cores. One - Death - that manipulates over the body, and the other - Life - that governs over the soul. This can be observed in the story in regards to Seele, and her counterpart. Light Seele, who is Life, and Dark Seele, who not only is Death, but originally was a piece of the Herrscher of Death from the previous era before her genetic data getting turning into a STIGMATA.
It's very well hidden, but in some of the details about the previous era, Mihoyo implied that the Herrscher of Death was able to do True Resurrection (Life), and brainwash them to work for her(Death via body manipulation). Can you imagine how demoralizing it must have been for MOTH to be forced to kill their comrades again? Or even worse, watch entire cities being brought back to life only for the entire population to turn on humanity.
Another reason why I believe True Resurrection is possible, and that The Herrscher of the End, (The Goddess, it talks about her and where that fragment of her power came from in the Divine Key Comic), and The Herrscher of Death is capable of it is due to the Theme of Samsara (Translates to Rebirth/Reincarnation), and History repeating itself is so prevalent in the story writing of Honkai Impact.
The Herrschers ability to understand and manipulate higher dimensional planes is key here, as the soul is usually conceptualized as being metaphysical, or on a higher plane of existence bound to a mortal body on a lower plane to interact with the physical universe. The Herrscher of Death with the Life Core must grant the individual the ability to interact with the specific plane where the "Soul" resides. This is somewhat proven in the Comic. Alien Space, as the Sugars are nothing more than purely metaphysical entities and were able to pull Welt and Ryunsuke into their pocket dimension, with Ryunsuke also getting the ability to trap them later on as well.
The Herrscher of the Void is especially skilled in manipulating alternate planes of reality. Is it possible for Void to resurrect the dead? Possibly, but at a much higher difficulty compared to Death.
I don't think Sirin was able to use her Void powers to do so, however. She didn't possess the knowledge or skill to manipulate such planes of existence due to both The End not giving her the knowledge as she knew that, if given the chance, Sirin would have stopped trying to kill humans to be with her mother again; and not knowing how from her own knowledge which she only had less than three weeks to learn about her abilities. And again, she only had a fragment of the Herrscher of Death, and only the Core of Death, and not of Life.

It's all so beatiful, Kiana finally took Final Lesson and uses her second chance at life to the utmost of her ability to inspire and help people she loves and the world. She's become a genuine heroine someone can look up to, she went through hell and came back stronger and gives off aura of hope.

The thing you miss is the Core of Flame appearing in 8:21 in the sword completing her transformation as Herrscher of Flamescion making Kiana possess 4 all Herrscher Cores in the Sword.
Technically Kiana only have 2 Herrscher Core in her possession and 1 Gem which is Gem of Serenity. Gem of Serenity isn't a Herrscher Core yet since it lack a suitable host to have Herrscher Personality to become a fully Herrscher Core.
My guess in 6:25 on why Bronya is glowing is because trying heal herself using Herrscher of Reason power like Welt did when he fully recreated his body using the Herrscher of Reason power.
As for the Herrscher of Hope you mention. If APHO is the canon future, it means that she is indeed became a hope for humanity.
As the Stigmata suggests, Seele is the Host for the Gem of Serenity.
The Gem of Serenity is meant for the Herrscher of Death, which is obviously Seele judging by her natural-occuring stigmata, yet during the second Impact, the God of Honkai gave four Herrshcer cores, representing HoT,HoW,HoF, and HoD.
The Gem of Desire was later used to power up Wotan, the gem of Disease was used to power up the Key of Blank which was Himeko's battlesuit during the Final Lesson, and now it is given back to Kiana. The Gem of Conquer dissappated as Mei became the true Herrscher of Thunder once more, the Gem of Serenity, on the other hand, is out of Kiana's control. Kiana doesn't know how to use it, neither did HoV, who only knew how to kill someone with it. The only one who has dealt with this particular Herrscher is Kevin, who executed a Seele-like girl in the last era.

God of Honkai didn't gave four Herrscher core to Sirin instead it gave Gem's.
Gem of Desire, Gem of Conquest, Gem of Serenity, and lastly Gem of Haste as extra power and battery to her.
Gem's are essentially weaker than Herrscher Core and it doesn't have any Herrscher personality but with the right host and enough Honkai Energy.
The Gem's can evolved to become Herrscher Core just like Mei did to the Gem of "Conquest". When the Gem of Conquest came back to her body, Mei Herrscher Personality is also back and when she ascend her rightful place as the Herrscher of Thunder the Gem of Conquest evolved to became a Herrscher Core. Hench becoming more powerful than when she first cause Honkai Eruption.
HoV knew how to use the Gem of Serenity. She was given knowledge by the Honkai when it gave the gems to her. That's why HoV is trying to kill Kiana so that she can resurrect herself using Gem of Serenity on Kiana's dead body.
Also Kevin couldn't dealt the Herrscher of Death in the Previous Era. She offered herself to be killed by Kevin. Kevin didn't fought her to death since he didn't have any powers yet. Some sources that Herrscher of Death doesn't want to kill anymore and she is hard kill because of her powers. This is just a rumor but I think it can be true since at that time there isn't anyone in the PE MANTIS yet since Kevin isn't a MANTIS himself.

I also loved all the parallels between this and Final Lesson. I feel that it really emphasizes how far Kiana has come as a character.
The concerning part about this is that it kind of makes it feel like Kiana is going down a bit of the same path as Himeko.
Well, Himeko didn't save Kiana just because she was a precious student. She saved her because she believed Kiana could save the world. Kiana taking on Himeko's legacy means she's putting the weight of the world on her shoulder. Of course, another of Himeko's lessons was that Kiana didn't have do it all alone. Which is why in the animation all her friends are helping her. As long as Kiana doesn't forget everyone has her back, she will be fine.

Herrscher of Flamescion hit me more than anything else. I've been playing Mihoyo games since Gun Girls Z and when Honkai Impact 3rd came out, it wasn't exactly the best. It is a great game with beautiful animations but at the time, I wasn't really expecting super great things from it. Gun Girls Z was released during time mobile games were starting up and released by a Chinese company, one would expect it to be quite a joke of a game, which for all intents and purposes, probably was: the setting was highschool girls killing zombies.
I didn't start HI 3rd until they released the JP version which I played a little with that. Kiana's Japanese voice actress is one of my favorite ones hence why I gave it a shot. Kiana was such a ditz of a girl trying to be number 1 and seeing her inherit the Will or Faith of her peers. Such a great ending to Act 2 as Mihoyo puts it. Now I'm very curious as to what new form Kiana will bring as Herrscher of Void is gone and Herrscher of Flamescion is probably a one-off thing considering it requires the 4 cores.
Even tho i am taking a break from playing Honkai, i find myself in need to keep up with the story...and this right here is the reason why...this was so emotional to watch...

A scion is someone who inherits something, a will, an ideal. Calling the battlesuit 'Flamescion' means Kiana has inherited all of Himiko's will, and will use it to fight the Will of Honkai.
Also, because of this fans call Kiana 'Herrscher of Family.'
Also, Kiana has 4 cores again. The Will of Honkai also granted Sirin 4 cores in the 2nd Honkai War. Basically, although Mei took back her Gem of Conquest to become a Herrscher again, Kiana got Himiko's Gem of Haste. This confirms that after she fell into the Sea of Quanta, Himiko died, however Kiana still didn't give up.

I'm back! I just marathoned this chapter last night and never has a game made me cry so much. God this video... When I saw it the first time last night... words can't begin to describe how I felt. Sentience, Reason, Flame (Formerly Haste), Void. Orange is Void, Reason is Blue, Sentience is Magenta, and Flame is Red. You can also tell because, since Scion translates to "Descendant" or "Successor", Kiana's new Battlesuit's name literally translates to Herrscher of Flame Successor. It's basically believed that Himeko held the Core of Flame, until now, when it was passed down to Kiana and the Core of Haste changed into the Core of Flame, if memory serves. Not too versed in Honkai Lore yet.

There were actually 4 cores in her sword, the very first one, the yellow one, was the Void gem. She then got the gem of Reason>Sentience and finally Haste (fire).
I believe the purple core was mei's core and not the core of sentience. It's implied that the other herschers have fallen and she was the last and we also saw mei give her back a push with the other girls.
Edit it was not mei but the gem of serenity (death) so still not the gem of sentience.

Honkai Impact 3 is the only Mobile game that makes me cry like a baby every single time they release animated short film since the Final Lesson. your reaction is pure man, the way that your tear falling down when Kiana raised the sword same as Himeko when she battle with HoV. There are so many reference of Himeko in this video because Kiana is now the successor of her and she will carry on the will of fire and fight for all the beautiful things in this world. Hat off to Mihoyo for creating such a wonderful, spectacular, amazing masterpiece as always.
Also HI3 is confirmed to be going to space and we already met some alien races already. So I guess it will become a lighter 40k.
Interesting there are a lot of paralell between HI3 (and GGZ) and 40k, the Honka (which exist from a seperate space call sea of Quanta) and Chao (which also exist in the separate space of warp), space marine and Valkryie which are both super soldiers, and these are created by Otto and the Big E which in GGZ they are similar in character, AE who prefer to build mech and are more “humane” like the space fish-people, and obvious the theme of Valkyrie themselves are prone to corruption like the space marine

You seems to do some 40k content as well, then you should look for Guns Girl Z content, which is made by the same company of HI3, with similar plot and characters but a lot darker. If HI3 is like Age of Sigmar (early lore) then GGZ will be like 40k. Both share the same theme of Honka and some characters like Otto and Kiana (much like both Age of Sigmar and 40k share the same concept of Warp), but GGZ is so much more ridiculously more dark, so dark that Otto almost become the only hope of humanity. They also have space battle where outer space honka beast invade earth in the GGZ previous (era zero) and the earth built fleet of space battleships and giant mechs and still cant beat i
They also have the equivalent of End Time where in one era Kiana gone berserk and killed all her friends and wipe out human civilisation, only for civilisation to be restarted with the help of the stigmata supercomputer.. In HI3 the stigmata was not explain fully what it suppose to do but in GGZ it was explain andd it is darker then anything in 40k.
