1st half, Galston v TASS 2011, 28th September 2024

What a start to this match with both teams up for this match. Less than 2 minutes in & TASS were awarded a penalty which was missed & Galston were soon attacking on the wing & a lobbed shot from the shy line went over Shay and into the net to give Galston a 1-0 lead. Both teams playing nice one touch football with both defences doing their part thwarting attacks plus keepers making saves when required. A few free kicks given away by both sides too. In the 17th minute a Galston player had to go off with an injured foot after a tackle for the ball. In the 28th minute Shay Gilroy passed the ball to Ray Dickson who controlled the ball & shot home from 20 yards out with the ball going in at the post to make it 1-1 at halftime.
