    I totally agree with you, Harey. He was right to get rid of all the players he did, but if he’s not going to replace them, he’s got to give Ethan A good opportunity in the side. 😊
    Thanks for all your hard work it’s really appreciated.

    Hi Harry you are the man I think Martin will be out for this year and I hope Ethan is more than capable of filling in for the forseeable future.

    Ødegaard suffered an eversion injury of the left ankle, if only one ligament is damaged it would most likely be the tibionavicular ligament. That ligament is part of the deltoid ligament complex on the inside of the ankle and is first to be damaged in eversion injuries.
    Grades and recovery times:
    (Grade 1) Mild, 2-4 weeks.
    (Grade 2) Moderate, 4-8 weeks.
    (Grade 3) Severe, 3-6 months.
    It's definitely not severe which would need surgical intervention, therefore we are looking at around 4-8 weeks without Ødegaard.

    This is one injury that annoyed the hell out of me. This was avoidable and Martin only has himself to blame when he decided to go and join his national side after limping out of that match against Brighton. Arteta and the club would have had no say if he insisted on going.

    • @drken9093
      @drken9093 6 часов назад

      that injury had nothing to do with the knock against brighton. he was Fit and wanted to play. its just unfortunate

    • @jc6087
      @jc6087 4 часа назад

      He got kicked in the knee against Brighton and it had nothing to do with him twisting his ankle on national duty.
      Furthermore he's the Captain of Norway and they're trying to do something in the Nations League, you're making out like it was a friendly when you know full well it wasn't.
      Change your profile name, I don't want you going around making Arsenal fans look like toxic little ars*holes and bringing the good name of our club into disrepute.

      @TheBallotGooner 4 часа назад

      @drken9093 No, he wasn't fit. He had another ' minor' injury during training with his national side, which was deemed not serious enough. If you have played a spot, you'll know the effects of playing with an injury, no matter how small it is. There's an argument to say a fit Odegaard rides that tackle and goes scot-free. The body behaves differently and tends to overcompensate in a bid to protect the injured foot/leg/part when you play with an injury.

    This is a game we can afford to draw. I would take this opportunity to blood nwaneri. He is young, didnt play a lot of minutes and should be fresh. I know we only saw him for a cameo against Spurs, but I loved what I saw from him. He was cool under pressure and his first thought was get the ball forward. He made a couple of good forward passes that didnt work out, but if he got them right, Spurs could have been in a little trouble. We will need him to step up now the Odegard is out. This could be a great test for him. I hope Arteta is thinking like this. I suggest you go back and watch every touch Ethan had against Spurs. In fact, he also had an excellent block. Minutes played 4, Accurate passes 3/4 (75%), Touches 8 successful dribbles1/1 (100%), Passes into final third 1, Dispossessed 0, Tackles won0/0 (0%), Blocks 1, Clearances 1, Headed clearance 1, Defensive actions 2, Recoveries 1, Duels won 1, Ground duels won 1/1 (100%),

      You can't go to any games with afford to draw mentality, continuity mentality and form are very important parts. Players have to give everything in this 2 games then we have some easier games which will give some rotation leniency but affording to draw/ wildcard game should not exist in our vocabulary

    Hi Harry... I've seen Atalanta line up in a 3-4-2-1 with a very aggressive press. Do you a) see us line up more defensively and b) think that Mikel would change his philosophy for UCL games in terms of squad rotation and formation?

    People are a bit too optimistic on the Odegaard's injury. I have had a full ligament rupture on my ankle before and it took me just a month to come out of a cast. Then the real hard work starts with the rehab which took months. Only six months after the initial injury was I able to get back to doing sports again, I'm not very optimistic on Odegaard coming back before January

    That's why I was never supportive of selling Smith-Rowe! We did splendid with 4-4-2 Jorghino+Partey, and were rather lucky last game; but it required Saka+Martinelli extra energy. Not to be counted on game after game.

      I think Ethan playing in the 10 tonight will give us the green light to see if the young man has arrived and we need to play him to see what we can manage Martin's injury.
