UGR is calculated if the direct light from the luminaire is high from the threshold of eyesight. sometimes glare is just by perception because even if the luminaire is really glary, bright surroundings might reduce it. Dialux calculated the glare from direct light and without the help of surroundings.
Nelca, I noticed that the Glare evaluation Table from the specs always have the reflectances of the test room the measures: "X = 4 H , Y = 8 H S = 0.5 H" my question is H = 1m or H = Height of the room?
Many thanks for such informative vedio .
Just wondering about the difference between axial and transversal UGR ? ,and how is UGR calculated ?
axial and transversal is the orientation of your luminaire where it emits light. similar to x and y axis.
UGR is calculated if the direct light from the luminaire is high from the threshold of eyesight. sometimes glare is just by perception because even if the luminaire is really glary, bright surroundings might reduce it. Nice and helpful. Thanks
thanks
Hi how do we calculate GR min and max in Dialux in street lighting? what are the standards defined for GR for Road lighting?

height of the glare points
Can anyone tell
How ugr depends on observers position and line of sight
Good information. suggest me some software to calculate UGR rating from IES file.
All lighting software can do that, check this one. ruclips.net/video/4SVUQQhm3Vc/видео.html
@@NelcaRoco can you please tell me if UGR value less than 10 result can not showing???
@@luqmanz6745 it should be showing.
