    Hi Denise, I’m fairly new to your channel and am loving what you do.
    I typically use middle water and wet on we, so have you done any tests of the paper and tape with water/paint at the edges to see if it would leak under the tapes?
    Also, do you sell your pieces? I looked at you website and socials and didn’t see any, just classes.
    Thanks and nice ‘meeting’ you.

    • @2lilowlsstudio
      @2lilowlsstudio  Год назад +1

      Ok! I went up and tested this out for you since I didn’t think to do that in the video… painted with water to the edges… added plenty of paint in there… waited for it all to dry… and pealed the tape and it actually did good. I did not have paint seepage! I’m pretty happy with how that worked out! 😊
      I do not sell art. I’m in my 11th year of having a creative business… most of it in creative photography… and have had things up for sale for years on that with very little sales. So I kinda think after all the artists and photographers I know… selling art doesn’t really make you a living like I have found the digital products, classes and workshops. And selling art is a full time effort by itself… so with everything I already do… I just don’t care to spend any extra time I have trying to sell art. My goal is to make classes and workshops for art and photography. So that’s what you found when you looked. 😊

    I’m curious. I’ve been painting since high school. Less so until recently. Now that I’m getting into it again I want to invest. I really love the translucent nature of Paul Rueben paints and I know the tubes would last a long time. My monthly budget is limited but I think I will spring for the artist grade set of 36.
    I’m curious about subscription boxes. I’ve have indulged in a few over the last two years but was overwhelming disappointed. It seemed like what was sent was repetitive or (what they could pull off a shelf), so I discontinued getting them. I’m curious, any recommendations on subscriptions you prefer?
    Also, I did indulge in the Peerless liquid water colors this month. I couldn’t resist after one of your videos.
