With this route, you should've gone for an early Bigfoot card, they give good exp to low lvls, and it would increase your survivability against beasts (that is what you are killing with this build - goblin cards)

Level 1 weapons have a very good chance of reaching 10, even though it doesn't make a big difference. Just get a mastersmith to job 70 first, then they'll have a 10% better chance than the upgrade NPC, and doesn't even cost money.
Personal preference aside, brandish only hits once while Bowling Bash hits twice (assuming you're not on the gutter line) Brandish is also very SP intensive, and a lot less spammable than Bowling Bash.
No, str is universal for both skills, the extra dex is only used to lower the cast time for Bowling Bash so it can be spammed more quicker (though dex do add some minimum damage)

Both have the same ATK, but thanks to Pike, i can train in Hill Winds One Shoting with Spear Boomerang, and go MVP using pierce as you can see in the video. Even more, if you use Pike you can combine it with a stronger shield like a one with Orc Warrior Card.
For starter, with the proper card setup you can use spear boomerang to one shot some of the weaker monsters, effectively turning the knight into a sort of archer. There's a noticeable delay when using melee based auto attack and skills (you have to be face to face with the monster, kind of like 2 magnets locked together) but there is no such delay with ranged attack and skills. Then there's the fact that one handed spear lets you use a shield, which you can add a race reduction for additional defense. Especially if you plan to mob with Bowling Bash as you briefly lose 2/3rd of your defense during the cast time, and if you pulled a large mob they can really pile on a lot of damage during that time, the extra race reduction will help to offset this somewhat.

Nice video, unfortunately not complete - if you follow the video as a beginner and go for same stats and gear, you won't be able to 1-shot Porcellio when farming the card, and in the video gear was conveniently hidden on that part. Your Atk in the video is 395+25, and if you follow your build Atk is 273+20. So you are using a different build to farm for this build, which in the end considering the exp bonuses on private servers right now, you might as well use the time to just rebirth and gear your LK
i think the video of one shotting porcellios was recorded at a later stage and was simply used for representation. Nevertheless, hunting for porcellio card isnt that big deal, you can use mercenary the way he did for goblins.

Quad card is basically a jack of all trade setup, they can do a decent amount of damage against a particular race/size/element without restriction, but they don't excel in DPS. In other words, it's a setup made by someone too lazy to create a specialized weapon focused on dealing maximum damage on a particular monster.

Good videos but not low rate. Not the drop rate in any case. All your videos show farming 4x Vado cards etc but that will take many weeks if not months on a true low rate server. All your strategies assume autoloot is available which is a non standard mechanic

On 5x thats 10,000 vadons you need to kill, and theres no guarantee that that will be enough. Its a relateively low pop map too, even with ranged attacks like spear boom your not going to be killing more than say 300 an hour. Thats about 30-40 hours farming minimum, hell of a lot theres easier ways to level and farm zeny.

For Bowling Bash, otherwise there's no reason to waste skill points on sword skills when you're going for spear build.

You do realize that he was using a +5 lance. And pretty sure has like 200 atk compared to the Pike which has like 50 or 60

You don't get exp from additional slaves spawned by a MvP, as far as I know

You can't do anything about drop rate. It's out of his control. It's either kill tons to get a card or buy it to players.
