My Uncle David was a policeman, he had so much respect and love directed towards him from the people in the village he served and visa versa, he was 6ft5, and like the green hulk, you needed to take a packed lunch to walk round him!, his uniform was just like he stepped out of a band box! (as my nan use to say), i think now they look as if they have slept in their uniforms! and i can't stand it when they address the public as "mate", why has this been allowed to happen with standards so low in the police force? and don't start me on the subject of base ball caps with POLICE written on as part of the uniform!
