There's actually a mod called "NetherPortalFix" which fixes the issue that 2 nether portals lead to the same one in the overworld. Good VOD as always anyways, wish I could watch it live.
the rifts remind me of wyrdboyz from warhammer 40k essentialy the orks psycher. They act like warp sponges though because the orks themselves emit a constant psychic energy. They actually feel pleasure from releasing this energy and they lose tension. Some become addicted to the release though, one occasion is when one wyrdboy hid near a contest event where when the orks came back they came back to there camp being instead a giant crater because the wyrdboy kept releasing psychic energy in devastating waves.

This would be a dumb idea because I don't know if ftb revelations has these but I remember once I "found a nuke" when playing in a multiplayer modded world and they constantly bullied me before and then I threatened that i would run in and kamikaze their base if they kept bullying me. Turns out I now own a secret nuclear missle silo somewhere and no one knows where, not even my allies. So when ever someone bullies me on the server or attempts to raid or grief my base they are met with the wrath of the hand of god. so yeah he shouldn't give them tech if he enjoys them not having nukes.

I wish tech mods were as easy to understand as magic mods. a lot of thought goes into magic mods to make them intuitive, while a lot of thought seems to go into tech mods to make them 'realistic', at least on a physical level. playing something that's made to understand is a lot more approachable than something that's made to emulate an aesthetic to justify the power and specificity of its function. im probably going too deep into it though idk tech mods just seem generally hard to fully learn as a rule.
I find that the opposite is true? It's just that tech mods require more steps than necessary. Like, magic mods tend to opperate under a "play the game like your normally do, but here's a special mod item that's gonna be your magic tool for the foreseeable future" and because of that you just naturally incorporate it into your normal play. So, as you go through your tool progression you'll just naturally lump in your magic in with shit like your pickaxe... But I also find that magic and magic tool progression is SO involved because to get through it, you REALLY have to explore and rely on Minecraft being minecraft. Sometimes world generation and RNG isn't kind, and you'll be searching for a particular plant, or structure for possibly hours... and you're still not done. Meanwhile, tech mods tend to be built naturally into the *construction* side of Minecraft. It takes longer, because it's more like when you sit down for a building project. You need to go out, get the crap you need, drag it back to your house and build blocks - but nearly everything is built so naturally into the redstone system that it generally looks more intimidating than it actually is. Like, getting self sufficient power is usually faster than getting to a point in a magic mod where you could completely replace swords with magic. I also find that tech mods pay out better, and sooner, than most magic mods. Like, Bloodmagic is DOPE at the END game, but it takes a LONG time to get there, much longer than to get to say, functional power armor and unlimited energy. Your tech tends to directly enable you to more quickly build more tech so once you get going you grow exponentially. Now, maybe that's just me. But i find the technology grind *stops* looooooong before the magic grind does, and the cost of improvement for technology is paid for by your earlier tech, where as the cost of imptovement for magic pratically resets everytime you make an advancement.

As long as you have saturation then it will drain before your actual hunger goes down. Once the saturation drains then thats when your hunger actually drains.

Anyone know why his hunger bar glows?
The glow is the food saturation. One of the mods makes it so you can see it now rather than it being a hidden stat like in vanilla.

@@emigdiovargas8960 food saturation is essentially just a second row of hunger. When you eat food like steak it fill four hunger meter and also fills the saturation bar partially. As long as you have saturation then it will drain before your actual hunger goes down. Once the saturation drains then thats when your hunger actually drains.
