Wiccan in the comics is the teen son of Wanda. He has a convoluted backstory with a few retcons but the general vibes are that when the hex went down that the spirit of both twins got implanted into other folks. In the comics there is one version where they are pushed back in time and born as babies to other parents. In this version though, I think the accident in eastview talked about in episode 1 and in the background newspaper clippings in the end credits for Joe Locke caused a teen called Billy Kaplan to die in a car crash that killed his parents and then the spirit of Billy reanimated him.
@@Factsarebetterthan That's pretty much what I've been thinking happened as well- like as soon as the car accident was mentioned I was sure that was how Billy became Billy Kaplan in this reality.
Oh! And in episode 1 when Agatha goes into the boys room all of the things in her imaginary world have the son she lost name Nicholas. Nicholas Scratch is also the name of Agatha’s son in the comics.
I think you are right about Teen/Billy putting the sigil on himself. Once Agatha realized who he was, his memories and power returned (wake thy power). Since he already has powers, I'm pretty sure he needed Agatha to get on the road to find his family. Sidenote: The song at the end revealing BILLY's identity is by BILLIE Eilish.
so they passed the trial because agatha Was punished. this was her worst nightmare - having a coven she started to care about turn on her for her powers. as confirmed by the showrunner ofc
