Focus on similarities not on differences. And you will feel much better about others. Tigrigna and Amharic as so much alike. i agree every language is equal,and it is means of communication,but to give you correction, there was no trgigna language during axum time,the official language was Geez both amharic and tgrigna developed from geez after the fall of axum

Reason why these people talk amharic is because they live in Ethiopia, but there is a very small amount of Ethiopians living in Eritrea! That's not exactly true. Most Tigringa people I know are fluent in BOTH languages while the Amharas only speak Amharic.
