    The table looked great fully assembled, but you missed out a lot of the construction, and personally, that is what I like to watch!

      McAVIT Yourway yeah I didn't show some parts this time like I left out some cutting, planning, and staining. All things that rhyme. I'll try to put more in next time. Thanks for watching!

    This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ruclips.net/user/postUgkxkNYRBJuiJ6EwD-tQSAlxg0eFKsnR2cgz I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

    table looks good bro it's something I need for my patio I've been wanting to build one for my patio for quite some time now little tip for gluing end grain that learn from Steve Ramsey take a dot of glue and actually rub it into the end-grain and let it sit for a minute until it starts to dry then get real Pasty that way when you apply glue to the end-grain for the actual glue up the end-grain doesn't soak up all the glue..hope that makes sense lol keep them coming bro got to get the customer to have you build a couple of benches to match 👍👍🍻

    Sorry if I missed it, but how did you attach the table top to the legs?

  • @acsparkman

    I’m building a similar table but am having trouble making the bench. Going 17 inches deep and 18 inches high but cant get good spacing on the diagonal leg pieces. Anyway to share on how to do that? Got a video showing that or have dimensions for the one you built? Thanks for any help you can provide!!

    Thank you for the video. Do you know the name or brand of that dowel jig? I hear they are not all created equal.
    Thank you again!

      Michael Rafales hey sorry for the delay I had strep throat. No fun. The dowel jig is spelled dowl it. It's made in Michigan, USA and I bought it from amazon. I love it.

    I like this table/bench set. Is plan available?

    How’s the top holding since you glued it no movement for the wood I believe

    • @woodscrew5612
      @woodscrew5612 6 лет назад +1

      Noel Travis the top is holding perfectly. Gluing the table top together is the strongest and most common way to do it. I believe you’re thinking of glueing breadboard ends on. That restricts wood movement and can cause issues. I learned that lesson the hard way.

    I've got a jointer buy no planer. Any tips?

  • @robnhannon

    Good looking table. How are you finding flat 2x material at the home center? Most of what I see in my area would require a decent amount of cleanup on the planer before I could make up a panel.

      Rob H thanks for watching. I do use my planer for every table. I also have an edge jointing sled I made. I hope that helps my friend!!
