  • We started making our way to Colorado and over the weekend we traveled about 900 miles from Atlanta to Houston. It was an uneventful trip, but with all the injuries we’ve had lately we’re glad nothing too exciting happened.
Erin mentions in the video that we stayed at a Bass Pro and Cracker Barrel. You can stay at these places for free, but it’s a good idea to check and make sure that particular location allows it. It’s up to the manager. We start by checking Campendium. In this case, there were no reviews on the Bass Pro location, so Jeremy gave the store a call and talked to the manager. She was very nice and gave us directions where to park.
We also mentioned that this was our FOURTH time crossing the Mississippi. We still get excited to cross it on these big trips. It’s a big deal for us since we didn’t cross it much growing up.
We’re in Houston for a couple weeks, and then we’ll be off to Dallas. If you’d like to follow along with what we’re up to during the week, be sure to follow us on social media and check our stories.
