I just lost my wife to cancer, and I can’t stop listening to this song. To be alone and lost in these days is almost a death sentence. My best friend and confidant is no longer suffering but now I am because of the loss.
🥹 glad you have found something to feel like you are a little alive. There is so much good music outthere, now it's like being reborn. The discovery in itself. I have been crawling in the dirt and discovering a lot of new things, hope it helps you appreciate living and the gifts we have. ... of course musicians and artists are gifts but all the ones we walk on too. .etc etc. ❤ be well on this crazy train.
Arguably the most underrated artist today. Been listening to him for years and wish to see intuitive compass live in Florida one day. Also appreciate the nod to Benjamin Tod in that last first.

Love you my friend. I pray we all get to live the kinder side of life one fine day. . .until then it's all a wild ride if nothing else! Thank you for the heart and soul you and Aurelia give to the beautiful music you create, you are an inspiration and a blessing here in our little neck of the woods! 🙏💗
Virginia to Colorado. Literally this hits just in the level of mileage and that all my family is back in the south and I’m a lonesome vocalist lost in the west. I’m still in the honeymoon stage with Loveland because I’ve been here a few months but I vaguely grasp his level of loneliness. I was 10min away from my family and felt just as lonely.
Ben a Benjamin tod fan for the longest time. I knew he was in a band before but never heard it. I finally did, then i found you. You and Ben are EXTREMELY talented. Thank you...
I want to know about your this and like in “Lone Wolf” running cattle in Cali. I moved to Mn from Mi grew up under a farming family and now I’m trying my best to farm just like they do/did (the majority doesn’t farm anymore period) but I made a home raising pigs and helping my landlord raise cattle I have a newborn in the house right now trying to save it but these songs especially like this make me think of home and why I left and what I’m doing now. I hope the bigger picture I’m seeing will come true!!!
Mountain air’s gonna keep me strong Between two rivers deep and long Back down in the valley where the children play Way out west i’ve gone to stray Well the sun is beating at my back It’s an endless lonesome railroad track I’m walking slow but I’m walking hard I dreamt your face in that old train yard I walked all the way to the edge of town Thought a little while then I turned around I guess I’ve grown too old to run Dreaming of the land of the midnight sun And I miss some people I once knew Seasons change and folks do too They’re way out east and I’m way out west Right or wrong I think I did my best Now my stomach is empty and my mind is dust I can’t seem to name a single soul I trust So I guess it’s time I run to the hills Gonna blow my nose with a ten dollar bill Money means nothing when you’re high in the hills Well it’s been a long time since I’ve been seen Back down in the valley sober and clean But things ain’t always what they seem Spring came early and the valley is green Come on down to the valley floor Stop on down at the general store Hear the talk of town and then you walk some more Just kept going til my legs were sore Say you need me and you need me bad You’re the best friend I’ve ever had Love’s the strongest thing I know I’ll be there no matter where you go Two thousand miles is a long long ways But we’ll make it there in just three days I’ll take it straight I’ll take it slow Back to the land of the ice (it’s more of an Alaska) and snow And come the day my final breath Physically I’ll meet my death Tell my friend in Tennessee He hasn’t seen the last of me Write a song in memory Pray beneath the willow tree Pray beneath the willow (says long prayer) tree

Radically thankful for Jason Dea West. The world’s a bit brighter with these tunes along the way.

I'm praying for you, friend. She's still with you.
This guy helped me through something similar
❤
Sending you power.

Oh yeah that's sweet! I'm convinced this gentleman has walked this earth before. Keep it alive good sir.
What a great description of an old soul!
He is main lining the secrets of the universe brother I'm certain of it. Look deep into those eyes he sees something we don't.
Arguably the most underrated artist today. Been listening to him for years and wish to see intuitive compass live in Florida one day. Also appreciate the nod to Benjamin Tod in that last first.
I can't help but hear alotta early Bob Dylan in his voice. Great talent and a testament to why roots/Americana should never be forgotten.
Intuitive compass. Met this guy at hardly strictly bluegrass years ago. Thanks for the bottle of wine bro.
This video deserves a million views!!
99k views is disgusting. Such a huge talent needs to be noticed
Great, Jason! Peggy just turned me on to your videos... we are convinced your Irish ancestors are coming through in your music! Aunt Mary O'Dea💕
So you're related to him? How's everyone doing now? I know you probably don't know much, but I'm fascinated by Jason and Nora music
God I just love this guy!! So thankful I found this hidden gem!
Hell yes. Real country.
Well done.
I recently came across Colter wall and it opened up this world of music for me and Jason and Ben just kill me. So amazing. Thx
wow, wow, wow, that's a mighty fine song. Lyrics really struck a chord
It’s amazing one man is producing all that music at once. He sounds like a 3-piece band. Beautiful!
Introduced my grandparents to this and similar artists and their faith was restored in music ❤🤘🏼
Love from the Dolomites, N.E. Italy
Amazing! One of my all-time heroes is Reinhold Messner.

Such good energy and straight vocals lines. Beautiful work, Jason. Keep making this magic, friend.
Now that’s commitment to the concept of ‘paisley’.
He's got eyes and ears. Time we live in - we need that again. TRUTH.
Great song, incredible artist. Needs more comments though
You and Ben. Man that would be a concert.
I’ve seen it. Along with resonant rogues. It was insane

Mountain air’s gonna keep me strong
Between two rivers deep and long
Back down in the valley where the children play
Way out west i’ve gone to stray
Well the sun is beating at my back
It’s an endless lonesome railroad track
I’m walking slow but I’m walking hard
I dreamt your face in that old train yard
I walked all the way to the edge of town
Thought a little while then I turned around
I guess I’ve grown too old to run
Dreaming of the land of the midnight sun
And I miss some people I once knew
Seasons change and folks do too
They’re way out east and I’m way out west
Right or wrong I think I did my best
Now my stomach is empty and my mind is dust
I can’t seem to name a single soul I trust
So I guess it’s time I run to the hills
Gonna blow my nose with a ten dollar bill
Money means nothing when you’re high in the hills
Well it’s been a long time since I’ve been seen
Back down in the valley sober and clean
But things ain’t always what they seem
Spring came early and the valley is green
Come on down to the valley floor
Stop on down at the general store
Hear the talk of town and then you walk some more
Just kept going til my legs were sore
Say you need me and you need me bad
You’re the best friend I’ve ever had
Love’s the strongest thing I know
I’ll be there no matter where you go
Two thousand miles is a long long ways
But we’ll make it there in just three days
I’ll take it straight I’ll take it slow
Back to the land of the ice (it’s more of an Alaska) and snow
And come the day my final breath
Physically I’ll meet my death
Tell my friend in Tennessee
He hasn’t seen the last of me
Write a song in memory
Pray beneath the willow tree
Pray beneath the willow (says long prayer) tree
slack jawed in amazement
My new favorite 💛

Wooton r u ?????? Absolutely fine
He almost sounds like woody gruthie...and in a same way his song writing style is similar...just what he sees and feels
Mountain air gonna keep me strong
between two rivers deep and long
back down in the valley where the children paly
way out west I have gone to stray
the sun is beating off my back
it's an endless lonesome railroad track
I'm walking slow but I'm walking hard
I dreamt your face in the old train yard
walked all the way to the edge of town
I thought a little while and I turned back around
I guess I have grown too old to run

Right or wrong I think I did my best

I can’t seem to name a single soul that I trust
So I guess its time to head for the hills
Blow my nose with a 10-dollar bill
Money means nothing when you’re high
And I’ve been high
For far too long
Well its been a long time since I’ve been seen
Back down in the valley sober and clean
But things aint always what they seem
Spring came early in the valley green
Come home to the valley floor
Stop on by at the general store
Hear the talk of town and walk some more
Just kept going till my legs were sore
And when I need you and I need you bad
You are the best friend I ever had
Loves the strongest thing I know
I’ll be there no matter where you go
Well 2000 miles is a long long way
But I’ll make it through in just three days
I’ll take it straight I’ll take it slow
Back to the land of ice… and snow
Come the day my final breath
Physically I’ll meet my death

I need the song text ❤️❤️
You wrote this about Ben?
tiles2011 Ben who? Benjamin Todd?
Tim Hale Yeah. Ben wrote Odea about Jason so I assumed his friend from TN mentioned in this song is Ben.
@@tiles2011 I assumed it was Ben, or Nicholas Ridout who passed away
I know this Melody from somewhere else and I just can't place it
this versions far superior to the recording available on Spotify, imo.
Holy fuck.
Did Zach Bryan take this beat for I Remember Everything or is it just me?
Это невероятно
In which note does he has his Harmonica?
