I was not around at the time of that "CRT gaming setup" but I'll be damned if I can't feel the mood. That's an absolutely gorgeous piece of furniture, even if the room looks like the attic of parent's house.
@Gentleman_33 Yeah, it really can't be helped right now. The game/stuff/hobby room is basically where everything that doesn't have a place goes until we can get proper furniture. The one area with the crt TV I want to kind of make a "retro corner" with a very cozy atmosphere. Might even get some beanbag chairs to complete that late 80s/early 90s aesthetic lol
It looks great so far! I have been where you are my room used to just have stuff all over the floors, due to the fact it had alot of my parents stuff taking up most of the room😂. Wasn't able to really walk around much but over time we did more work on it and now it's my safe haven (kinda has to be it's where I sleep) so keep it up looks great. Btw love the crt stand I'm going to be looking out for one now.
@potato-goblin-64 You can usually find good deals on CRTs just by looking around local pawn shops, garage sales, and Facebook marketplace. There's a few people who know that they're in demand so they price them a little higher than others (like $50-$100), but where I live there's also people giving them away for free or for like $10.
@harrymasononvacation Thanks for the advice man! It's like that in the UK too kinda sucks how prices go up for stuff like that but yeah I get it, if you look hard enough you can find some great deals. Seen some for as little as £10 to £20 just don't have the room for one yet 😂
