Nice variety of locations, people do sometimes tend to ignore tender-first running, so they miss a lot of the action. Very nice view from the last coach of the train behind Nunney.

The Mid Hants Railway put on a great show and to ignore tender first running would mean missing half the action. Thank you for commenting ... Tim.

Hi Steve, I have not been to the WSR as much as I would like to have done this year, so it was a bit of a bonus when the WSR (6960) came to me. I have visited the MHR regularly since it first opened, over the years it has matured into a first class railway and this Gala showed their ability to put on a great display .... Tim.

(7:33) Read about South Railway Schools class
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SR_V_Schools_class
adding one more strange custom at British steam locos named by marine ships, famous marines etc.

The British liked to name their locomotives, look up Halls, Castles and Kings all famous GWR classes of locomotive.

I learned a lot of new things by your video lessons on Britisch railways.
