At first due to too excessive popularity EXO had tons of fans that were aggressive, inexperienced, and just too excited to be respectful of EXO. In our early days we were criticized for always being too loud around events EXO was attending at. But, right now we are in such a good place in terms of understanding, respecting and interacting with EXO. We have trust in EXO and EXO has trust in us. This is precious and I value this relationship. Here and there they would spill some private info about them with us or they will try to communicate with us with respect, but also in a casual way of a close friend. There would always be new problems arising and some fans being disrespectful to EXO, but that is just how it is in life. It's just that that poisonous number has decreased, bcs we got experience and we've matured. :)
But, anyways I love my fandom, my people. I think that we are a strong community. Very dedicated, passionate, and caring of EXO. The crazy thing is EXO has been on top of their game for 5 years in a row, and it's not stopping. And, the fandom is n0t stoping their support too! Usually, groups would slide downhill right after their success. But, we were lucky enough to keep the hype going and it is amazing to see so many people impacted by EXO OT12. I mean we only got 2 years of 12 member moments, but it impacted us too much and that presence was so memorable that even now still people miss that OT12 and we talk about it. Just amazing how EXO has left their imprint on us, on music industry and on history.
At around 13:20 you asked how the fans knew what song to sing. Actually the fans singing is a fan project done by korean EXO-Ls at every single Seoul concert. Since exordium had 6 days, 6 different songs were planned to be sung during the waiting for encore stage! All these are fan-planned and fan-initiated! We love our boys very much... 😊
